When this gets into the the supreme court the first amendment is going to kill this thing in a matter of days less even Ford is going to get creamed!

It's even wackier than that. They're talking about making federal enforcement efforts a violation of state law and arresting US marshals, FBI agents, and AFT agents. If they do, the Obama administration would have to at least think about sending federal troops in. Could get messy.

Most likly it will never get that far people Carl Ford don't tend to have the balls to go to court, he knows this law can't stand this whole thing is a "vote for me" ad just like prop 8. It wasn't defended by california they didn't even try. Ford knows what he's doing.

Whoops--wrong state. The proposal to void federal laws and prosecute agents who try to enforce them came from the "supermajority" republican party right here in good ol' Tennessee. But there have been similar discussions in other red sates...

According to a couple of sources I saw, it was actually in two states; likely the ReThuglican-Idiots were cooperating to put them both in at the same time.
