Once again, more roboblogger bullshit.

All wars in history were started in the name of ideology, racism, theft or petty squabbles between powers. World War I was all of those.

Religion is as much an ideology as communism, fascism or nazism. They're all the same, regardles of whether they worship a fictional, "god", the corporate state or "the party".

Atheism never started a war, and nobody ever started a war in the name of nothing.

Even the recent war against Al-Quaeda was because of them trying to kill us due to us being "infidels".

So, by this irrational logic, George Bush and his father are Christian, therefore Desert Storm, the Afgan and recent Iraq war are christian wars? Fact remains, yes, there were and are some pretty sh*tty atheists, but with no doctortine to follow, no war was ever faught in the name of atheism.

Religious or political wars are started because of ideologies, and or, just a$$hole leaders. Not believeing in a God based on lack of evidence, is not an ideology, it's a default position.

Not christian wars, islamic wars. We didn't attack them, we defended ourselves from them by taking them out. I personally see no wrong in that. If there is a group of people that into their faith where they will kill people that don't agree with them, they need to go away. Just look at what Hitler tried doing. Hell he even tried taking out christians along with jews and all the other peoples.

Organized anything that leads to violence should be rid of this planet. Those people are typically religious. Sadly.

I was referring to this quote "“Apparently it was just an amazing coincidence that every Communist of historical note publicly declared his atheism….there have been twenty-eight countries in world history that can be confirmed to have been ruled by regimes with avowed atheists at the helm…These twenty-eight historical regimes have been ruled by eighty-nine atheists, of whom more than half have engaged in democidal [a “term coined to describe government-instigated mass murder of its own citizens”] acts of the sort committed by Stalin and Mao…."

The idea that because a leader that goes to war, or commits genocide, is an atheist, or a Christian, doesn't mean they can take the leap and call it religious or atheistic in nature. It's almost always because of ideology, religious, political or otherwise.

And I think the middle east sees it alot differently. The west has been medling in middle eastern business and politics, often including the military, far too much. Many there, would say we attacked 1st.

Exactly. People killed in "religious" wars are no more or less dead than people killed in wars over territory, control of natural resources, wars over political rivalries, wars over raceor any other causus belli. All reasons for war are equally bad.

Christian's god = Abrahamic Jehovah
Islam's god = Abrahamic Allah
Hitler's god = Abrahamic Jehovah (Hitler=Christain)
The Jew's god = Abrahamic Yahweh (Hitler's victims)
One big nasty fragmented god-pile that millions wants someone else killed for
