It may be a decoracy, maybe that means taxpayers pay for their king's weddings, I don't know.

But it is a monarchy and it is not a democracy.

BTW: you can have a constitution and still be a monarchy.

The Head of State

Sweden is a monarchy in which the office of Head of State is held by a King or Queen. The title is inherited by the eldest child of the incumbent Head of State. Sweden's Head of State is the nations supreme representative but has no political powers. He or she is regularly informed of the affairs and concerns of the realm and chairs the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs.

Sweden's democratic system

Sweden is a parliamentary democracy, which means that all public power proceeds from the people. At the national level, the people are represented by the Riksdag (Swedish parliament) which has legislative power. The Government implements the Riksdag's decisions and draws up proposals for new laws or law amendments.
