In America, atheists are still in the closet

So do many other interest and identity groups. Complaint is our political lingua franca: it's what Occupiers, Tea Partiers, Wall Street titans, religious and irreligious people share.

We can add "negative proof fallacy" to Barefoot's argumentative deficiencies.
You don't know what "negative proof fallacy" is, StickyGums.

Whatever it is that is eating you, it must be suffering horribly.

Father Leo Booth explains in his book, When God Becomes a Drug:

"When, in the name of God, people hold black- and-white beliefs that cut them off from other human beings; when, in the name of God, they give up their own sense of right and wrong; when, in the name of God, they suffer financial deprivation; then, they are suffering from religious addiction."

When your arguments consist of more than ad hominems and strawmen, we will talk about civil and moral behaviour.

List of points and arguments that Barefoot cannot refute or explain:

"The world still awaits for the quote where I agreed to a bet.

The world is also waiting for you to define democracy...

... and explain why things within an umbrella term are the same...

... and why things can only be defined by one word...

... and what the Weimar Republic was if it was not a democracy...

... and why you cannot admit that universities do indeed give out politics degrees...

... and why you cannot admit to losing a bet about a Facebook link being the Encyclopaedia Britannica...

... and why for a supposedly powerful monarchy, Parliament has not had a bill refused by the royals in over 300 years...

... and why a Constitutional monarchy "is a monarchy", but absolute and electives are "kinds"...

... and why a Constitutional monarchy requires one physical Constitution to be defined as such...

... and why, quite simply, everybody and everything else - academia, history, reality - simply ridicules your inane argument about Britain not being a democracy.

For a guy who stresses the importance of quotes and pasting as many source as he can, it sure is funny how you never really seem to answer anything."

It is called autism. Barefoot has the physical age of an adult yet the mental age of a six year-old.

We should remember that you posted quotes before that turned out to be total cr@p so when one sees anything you post and attribute, he or she would have to check to see if it were valid... since... obviously you can't be bothered.

I guess we don't have to say you completely CREATED the "quote, as SuperFAG did (above and not for the first time).

Now why not for fun don't you explain what negative assertion is to SuperFAG- maybe if you do some research and learn what it is, and you are very careful, you can explain it to him.

We can all remember well when Barefoot2626 asked this of SuperFAG:

Is the United KING_dom a monarchy, yes or no?

Of course, this was before the bet that SuperFAG britished out of.

You know, one of the most interesting things about people who absolutely DEMAND that those who do NOT believe in God prove the non-existence of God is? They cannot prove God exists. If they could there sure wouldn't be an argument. Just because the non-believer cannot to the satisfaction of the believer prove that God does not exist that does not mean He does in fact exist. And just because the believer swears that all of the wonderful experiences in their life, to include what they perceive of as miracles, proves that God exists...it does not prove such a thing. Proof is unequivocal and does not take sides. It simply is proof. And, if the believer cannot provide proof as to the existence of God there is no necessity for the non- believer to prove anything.

If you as a believer feel that a non-believer really and truly must provide proof as to the existence of God you miss the reality that you are in the same boat of not being able to prove squat. So, it is okay that you prattle on and on about things of which you have nothing coming even close to being substantive proof as to the existence of anything but a lunatic book of myths borrowed from many other beliefs and religions, beliefs that have been horribly put together like a thrift store patch quilt gone very wrong.

There is nothing any non-believer can ever do or say to stop the absurd claims as to the existence of God or for proof as to the same that He does not exist. You cannot prove what does not exist. Non-believers understand this. If you wish to continue to waste your time demanding proof of the non-existent go right on ahead. No one will stop you. You are safe in the little fantastical religious cocoon you have made for yourself, so try, TRY to be a little more CHRISTIAN-LIKE in your approach to others and not sound so damn pissed off all the time. Aren't you supposed to be happy with your special salvation and God? Hummm? Be happy with that and move on. Stop demanding that everyone else share in your supposed happiness. You certainly DON'T sound so happy. Neither do you sound like a loving Jesus. Maybe you should study more of your story book.

Funny how so many people who (say they) don't believe in God go so far out of their way to demand others prove that their is a god.

And insist that other s believe as they do.

Funny how you put the GodBots and the NotBots in a room, no one can tell them apart.

Not unlike the Cheronians.

Not being able to prove that something exists does not mean it does not exist, sweetie.

And just as someone who believes that an intelligent race of beings exist on another planet, not being able to prove they exist doesn't "prove" they do not exist.

And insisting something doesn't exist without proof is no different than insisting something does exist without proof.

That is one of the final fall-back positions of the believer who cannot deal with the facts...EVERYONE ELSE IS LYING. So hilarious. Keep talking and posting quotes because it is interesting and hilarious entertainment. And who knew that owning slaves made an individual untrustworthy. I suppose the fact that God asked Abraham to kill his son makes God SOOO much more reliable and honorable, right? Whew! Religion...gotta get me some of your God.
