Not really, everything that's been on a major network tends to be stuff I already watched a lecture on. Being online with all this information available for free, it makes regular media seem rather boring. lol

Jut recently saw a presentation of Google's new artificial intelligence program. I'm considering applying to join the team for that, they're trying to break the boundary now.

Your picture is enough to soften anything, Chubby.

Sometimes permanently, for those who fail to look away quickly, apparently.

Yes, this thread has become a bit bare. Some of the other threads still have some fiber.
Hi, pm. Yeah, have taken a long break from Topix. Doing other things. Came back to see what's up.

Yeah. I noticed that. bf doesn't seem to realize that the monarchs in Sweden and England have essentially no power. Queen Elizabeth IS head of state in the UK, but it is a totally an ornamental fixture. Sweden's monarch is not even that. Yes, he has the title of King, but is treated pretty much like any other citizen of that country.

Strictly speaking, bf should also be claiming Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the other Commonwealth countries are also "monarchies and not democracies" since Queen Elizabeth is also officially their head of state as well.

But then, bf isn't known for his grasp of logic...or even facts.

Meatball... you don't know anything about the USA, I live here so that means whatever else I know, I know more about the USA because I live here.
That's according to you, Meatball.
bf, if you think the Constitution DOES say anything about God or Jesus, then you are even more delusional that I thought.

Show me where in the Bible it even hints at democratic ideals. Ain't there.

Technically, it is a monarchy. One could make the case it is a constitutional monarchy even though it doesn't have a constitution.

In describing its government, though, "parliamentary" would be best, putting it firmly in the "democracy" camp.

BTW...Sweden IS a constitutional monarchy and has a parliamentary government as well.

As everyone in this thread knows, the only "kind" of monarchy I have tried to make you acknowledge is:
Yes or no, is the Kingdom of Sweden a monarchy?
Putting aside of course: the KINGDOM of Sweden is a monarchy...

In global democratic rankings, bsfoot hates the fact the US is ranked one place below the UK and fifteen places below Sweden...

Of course, BF keeps insisting on using actual facts and actual English definitions, and has pointed out a few hundred times that either a country IS or a country IS NOT a monarchy.

(QUOTE)
mon·ar·chy
[mon-er-kee] noun, plural mon·ar·chies.
1. a state or nation in which the supreme power is actually or nominally lodged in a monarch. Compare absolute monarchy, limited monarchy.
2. supreme power or sovereignty held by a single person.

Synonyms
1. See kingdom.

++

Of course, we can all see that BF hasn't moved a fraction of an inch and we all know- no matter how hard you stomp your feet- both Sweden and the United ******KING*********dom are monarchies.

++

Of course, what is humorous is the NotBots insisting in one breath that the UK and Sweden aren't monarchies and then in the next insisting that no one is denying that they are monarchies.

Is the United KING_dom a monarchy, YES or NO?

Yea... funny how Barefoot keeps getting 'misquoted' by the NotBots, this, of course, being the classic straw man we come to expect on a daily basis.

Barefoot insists that the United KING_dom is a monarchy and that the KINGDOM of Sweden is a monarchy...

... and the NOtBots are making their way through the 200 or so countries that Barefoot hasn't mentioned and they insist... well... he meant to mention them.

Of course, the NotBots aren't shy about misquoting BF.
