Apropos nothing at all, did you see Brian Cox calling Dara's pieces "fluff"?
<quoted text>
I canít make out how those two get on together off stage, there were a few catty remarks bounced between them over the 3 programs (and follow-ups). Dara takes on an evil, bitter, even hateful look when Brian speaks, if you recorded the shows just watch Daraís facial expressions.

I know Brian (slightly), he has no tolerance for silly ideas, I know he tones his remarks down on TV, except when someone mentions astrology (a particular pet hate) and his reaction then is hilarious.

Dara is very intelligent but perhaps he is intimidated by Brianís brilliance.

As with Hitler and Pol Pot, church taught him a lot, thatís what the abrahamic based churches do.

Those who are selective in what they want to learn (as so many godbots on here) dumb down the hatred, mass murder, rape and genocide of the bible and give it excuses, as though rape, child murder, mass murder and genocide are ok when itís someone you like doing it.

They've been hanging out for years so I think it's a Dara thing. If you've seen him with Ed Byrne you get similar Dara reactions, and yet they are the closest of friends.

It's a very different relationship to the Cox-Ince relationship, that's for sure. Ince and Brian can put each other without animosity.

Cox-Dara makes for great TV though.

Sure does - shame its only 3 episodes. I really do like them both, they have the knack (particularly Brian) of making extremely advanced ideas understandable. They have both done wonders for education in the fields of math and physics

Brian Cox and his Stargazing Live crew were banned from searching for life on a newly discovered planet because BBC bosses feared aliens may breach editorial guidelines.

Pol Pot... atheist.

I think you forget you claimed that they rejected the teachings of the Christian church... I guess they rejected the teachings but remembered them during the mass murders and then forgot them and then remembered them... again... depending on what point you are trying to make...

Of course, there is every bit as much proof that people with mustaches are responsible for mass murders... which means we can expect one from you, eh, Skanque?

You speak for none of them, Waddles.

And you showed your true color when you suggested that I would be more horrified should my "wife" run off with a BLACK man... oh my!

As if being black would be the ultimate insult.

And as far as drippydicks, Skanque, you have had them in your mouth. Big ones... fat ones... and that very short stumpy one that you were married too.

In real life.

As a man, I have never really noticed nor have I cared; I am sure they must have left a bad taste in your mouth.

In real life, Skanque.

It isn't and never was ever a real question, Skanque.

The sun rises in the east... the United KING_dom is a monarchy.

It's just out there when people insist that the UK isn't a monarchy and that you never contradict them.

You don't see that kind of hypocrisy from me; I don't have problems calling out people who on other topics might otherwise agree.

I cannot recall being disproved on a single thing.

Wriggle out of "traps"?

Di let's recall when I relayed to Packy the HISTORY of the U505 being captured by Americans in WWII and capturing an Enigma machine and Packy and you saying the U505 was captured by the British and Packy continued to insist even after I gave him several chances to look it up and then you tried to wiggle out of it by insisting I had seen and was confused an American fictional movie?

Or that I was wrong when I said that Christian worship was required in "public" schools by law in the UK and I posted the exactly law a dozen times and you insist that the law does count... as proof that there is a law requiring that Christian worship was required in "public" schools by law in the UK...

COUGH.

Let's see...

UK is a monarchy...check!
the prime minister is appointed by the monarch ...check!
the monarch does not rubber stamp everything the Parliament or their prime minister puts up...check!
The King_dom of Sweden is a monarchy...check!
The U505 was captured by the Americans...check!
The first enigma was not captured from a submarine...check!
The USA saved your azzes in WWI and WWII...check!
The USA had more ships at the start of WWII than the Brits...check!

Off the top of my head, Skanque...

I'd like to see more of them together.
Or put the Infinite Monkey Cage on TV, that would be good too.

Don't dish it out if you and your aliases are going to cry about it being flung back in your face.

I see you don't have a problem with ChristineM using the terms "t\/\/at" and frequently "cocksucker" and dozens of daily references to oozing penises.

So you opinion... doesn't really have much weight.

Wrong! Pol Pot was a Theravada Buddhist and his violent actions against symbols of modern society were inspired by the Theravada ideal of renunciation of the material world.
