Do show everyone where I have ever said that Britain had a "mighty powerful monarchy", SuperFAG.

After you answer: Is the Untied KING_dom a monarchy, yes or no?

Which is regularly cross-examined and updated to eliminate outdated information and bias. Wikipedia has been so successful that it has put Encarta out of business.

Can the same be said about -your- source? No. A one-man army with claims unverified by anything I have come across.

TTTH, honey.
I have answered it beyond the one-word answer you pray I give.

You, like a creationist, think you have caught me into an "ah ha!" moment with a loaded question. Like a creationist, you refuse to actually debate the evidence because your feeble argument falls apart when we look beyond your word games.

Case in point: Royal Assent has not been refused since 1707.

Why, Barefoot, if Britain is literally a monarchy, does our monarchs not exactly seem interested in our political system?

Run away, little boy. Leave the complicated stuff to the adults.

Start with "Is the United King_dom a monarchy, yes or no?"

Since that has been here longest, SuperFAG.

You have been hiding from that for a couple months.

You will pardon me if I continue to ignore your other rants?

The only person hiding from anything is you, Barefoot. That is because you do not have the intelligence, integrity nor maturity to debate beyond simple yes-or-no loaded questions that you use as a safety blanket.

We all know Britain has a monarchy.

We all know Britain's monarchy has powers.

We all know that Britain is also called the "United Kingdom".

We also know that Britain has a Parliament.

We also know that the Commons, the legislative body of Parliament, are democratically elected.

We also know that Parliament makes laws that is given Royal Assent.

We also know that Royal Assent has not been refused in over 300 years (three hundred).

We also know that the Queen attended her first, and only, Cabinet meeting this month for her Jubilee celebrations.

---

Do you see why your "yes or no" question is meaningless, Barefoot? All the above statements are individual pieces of a jigsaw puzzle set that, when all taken together, demonstrates that our monarchy is nothing but a figurehead while all the decisions are made by democratically-elected MPs.

We are a monarchy in name and ceremony only. In reality, we are a typical western democratic country.

Time to get a new safety blanket, Linus, because once again you have simply been outclassed with basic, basic logic.

By Barefoot's logic democracies do not exist anywhere. We must take everything literally and ignore how governments actually function.

SuperFAG can never find the quote he needs so he insists on speaking for me and my "logic".

My logic is this:

The official name of Sweden is: the Kingdom of Sweden.

Here is a definition of kingdom:

king·dom (kngdm)
n.
1. A political or territorial unit ruled by a sovereign.

here's another:

king·dom
[king-duh m]
noun
1.
a state or government having a king or queen as its head.

here's a third:
king·dom
noun
\ˈkiŋ-d& #601;m\
Definition of KINGDOM
2
: a politically organized community or major territorial unit having a monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen

++

COUGH

++

Now: Is the United KING_dom a monarchy, yes or no?

I cannot help you do know enough English to understand logical fallacies- such as what a loaded question is... and is not.

I cannot help you do not know enough English to understand what a monarchy is- even after I have posted many dozens of times many definitions from many sources that all indicate that yes, indeed, the United KING_dom is a monarchy in every sense of the word.

I have to think it is because you are a stupid person more so than a stubborn person though there is certain a combination of both going on.

If I worked for the FBI, the first place I would start looking for our next public killer is on atheist forums. Atheists are our homeland terrorists and these forums spawn and breed killers.

PLEASE! Notify your local FBI agencies of this matter. I did.
