So do many other interest and identity groups. Complaint is our political lingua franca: it's what Occupiers, Tea Partiers, Wall Street titans, religious and irreligious people share.

You comntinually remind us the the US is a democracy and you get all defective and vomit excuses when you are told that the US is constitutional republic
I can tell when you start frothing at the mouth: your spelling takes a turn for the worst.

The US is a democracy. Take a deep breath.

The vein in your forehead is throbbing.

The US is an *indirect* democracy, as are *all* countries that are democracies in the world today.

Take a deep breath.

For a country to be a direct democracy, all its citizens would have to meet in the same place and vote on everything.

Funny how that is.
I voted for president- like most Americans in this forum- in the last month.
When did you get to vote for PM?
In Britain we vote for our prime minister every four years, our head of state is the queen, she is not voted in and has no power, Americas president is not voted in but has all the power, see the difference now, our unelected head of state is the queen, just a figure head, a ceremonial position with no power, your unelected head of state is your president, who has lord of shockingly undemocratic powers

It must hurt you to know that the UK is considered by everyone yo be more democratic, freer, more liberal, more progressive and more secular and modern country than America, whether you like it or not, America is considered a backward primitive, extreme right wing, crazy fundamentalist nation, hillbillys with nukes, disturbing, the fundamentalists in Iran aren't allowed nukes, but the fundamentalists in America are....

Funny that, you just admitted it and you deny admitting it –

You did not get the option of who of the two candidates would be president

I voted in 2010 at the time of the G E N E R A L - E L E C T I O N

The US has a Constitution.

The UK doesn't.

What part of the US constitution has you confused, Skanque?

The part that explains how I get to vote for POTUS?

His posts, although carefully not christian in the goddidt it all 6016 years ago last week vain are so typically christian, the incredulity that someone can consider something different to him, that someone can think, unlike him. The stubbornness in the face of factual evidence is typical of so many creationist crustards. And of course the propensity to repeat over and over and over and over the same thing again and again and again and…

It does not mean we don't vote, SCrotumLicker.

You understand now?

US citizens vote for POTUS indirectly.
UK subjects: do not get any vote for head of state at all ever.
