There are no matters more important or fundamental than who or what caused the Universe, determining our place in said Universe or figuring out why Atheists (or anyone else) should feel compelled to hide in closets. MAKE NO MISTAKE ... cheeseburgers are important to a lot of people and deserve their share of respect and consideration. Making light of cheeseburgers or people who eat cheeseburgers or feeling you are somehow superior to people who eat cheeseburgers is symptomatic of the disease that has corrupted mankind since the dawn of time. I suggest that it is YOU who appears under distress and should seek help.

So, what's your point, when the worlds currencies are gold backed, the dollar as a world standard will be gone, it will no longer be the reserve currency, this is happening, right now, the dollar is in terminal decline, the British pound isn't in a strong position either, nor is the euro, western domination of the worlds finances and currencies is over
There isn't enough gold in the entire world to base money on it anymore. It's clearly evident you are not an economist.
But the fact is also if you base money on gold you limit the price
of the metal.

But the truth is if all currency was based on gold , we would run out of money to trade with. The supply of gold is finite the supply of fiat dollars is not. Globally basing money on gold would lead to gold becoming near worthless.
There is an estimated 5,820,203,717 ounces of gold in all known forms, much of which is in jewelry. You would limit the supply of money of all nations to about 5 trillion ounces of gold.
It isn't possible to do that anymore.

Based on gold alone , by gold reserves held in banks, all the whole worlds money would amount to.+- a bit as this figure was a 2011 estimate.

All the big powers are buying up gold in huge quantities, because the dollar is no longer a world standard, China and Russia are soon to usurp it, this is common knowledge
