Of course I read them stupid (response to You are crazy), why the f*ck do you think I posted them, because each and every one disproves the claim the Wright brothers INVENTED the aeroplane<quoted text>
You are crazy , do you even read your own links?
)))) Henson built a scale model of his design, which made one tentative steam-powered "hop" as it lifted, or bounced, off its guide wire. Attempts were made to fly the small model, and a larger model with a 20 foot wing span, between 1844 and 1847, without success.((((((
The Aerial Transit Company never built the largest version of the Aerial Steam Carriage because of the failed attempts with the medium-sized model.
Another American did fly a model before the Wright Brothers , but is was unmanned. The Wright brothers are credited with the first machine to fly under power "carrying a man".
You cant change history Christine.
You don't get credit for failure hunny.
The Wright brothers DID NOT invent the aeroplane no, matter what US history teaches. That the Wright brothers were the first documented aviators to perform a successful controlled manned and powered flight however that in no way represents invention.
You seem to omit the piece from the Chard Museum, which was also confirmed in the wiki piece
In June 1848, just months after Henson had emigrated, Stringfellow SUCCESSFULLY flew his model inside a long room in a disused lace mill in Chard.
That was a WORKING model aeroplane. As I asked barfy but face, how can the Wright brother have invented something that ALREADY existed?
You also seem to have IGNORED all the other historical evidence I supplied, why is this?
I dont want credit, I just want facts.
