In America, atheists are still in the closet

So do many other interest and identity groups. Complaint is our political lingua franca: it's what Occupiers, Tea Partiers, Wall Street titans, religious and irreligious people share.

The Red Army ran away from the Germans just as the Brits. The Red Army drew the line at Stalingrad.

In this universe in this time dimension.

First working powered aeroplane invented and patented in 1842
Toy.

Let me know if you can figure out a way to deny the first real man powered airplane flight was by the Wright Brothers.

Well, actually, it's because of the predatory nature of US corporations. They'll patent anything they can, often before it's even dreamed up, then enforce those patents with force if needed.

Complete dung.

"Of prophetic design, it closely resembled a modern microlight aircraft in appearance. After considerable taxiing on his farm paddocks Pearse made his first public flight attempt down Main Waitohi Road adjacent to his farm. After a short distance aloft, perhaps 50 yards, he crashed on top of his own gorse fence. No details were recorded, by Pearse or onlookers, of this tentative flight. In two letters, published in 1915 and 1928, the inventor writes of February or March 1904 as the time when he set out to solve the problem of aerial navigation. He also states that he did not achieve proper flight and did not beat the American brothers Orville and Wilbur Wright who flew on 17 December 1903. However, a great deal of eyewitness testimony, able to be dated circumstantially, suggests that 31 March 1903 was the likely date of this first flight attempt.(The year 1902 also has its advocates.) Pearse continued his flying experiments, achieving several further powered take-offs or long hops, most of them witnessed. None of them, in terms of length or control, was a true flight by any strict definition. In July 1906 he patented his aircraft."

So he flew and forgot to mention it to anyone... until 12 years later... when he was pretty sure the best he recalled it was before the Wright Brothers.

Cough.

Silly Wright Brothers had witness and were selling airplanes for ten years.

That was not your original stance which stated

“The inventors of the first airplane were Orville and Wilbur Wright”

Notice the word inventors?

but seeing as how you have now realised your misstate (again) moved the goalposts (again) may I suggest you try

Which statement that I have made that you "proved" wrong, Skanque?

That the first powered manned flight was by the Wright Brothers?

That the UK is a monarchy?

That the US captured the U505?

or twenty more that you stomp you feet and insist that I am wrong... excepting that I have the facts?

Your syphilis playing up again?

That’s the story, live with it

All it does is reinforce previous powered flights that has been happening for more than 50 years thus placing the “INVENTION” of the powered aeroplane more than 50 years before that claimed by your post

How about “The inventors of the first airplane were Orville and Wilbur Wright” statement, you soon seem to have moved the goalposts on that one

The fact that you claim I stated the U505 was not captured by the US

That the US b(w)ankers greed caused the 2007 world wide financial meltdown

That you don’t get to vote for who is president

That half US children have to acknowledge god each schoolday

That the UK fleet was the biggest fleet in the world in 1939.

Etc, etc

You have the personal claims and wet dreams, I don’t actually remember a time when you have provided facts.

Screw "who invented the airplane". It’s full of US hype unless you search deeper than page one

Google “history of the aeroplane” then at least half the entries tell you the facts without the BS nationalist BS.

Tell me how are inventions recorded? Is it with drawings?
