Actually it isn't. With how many different religions there are, every religion doesn't believe in a god another religion does. Therefore, one less ism makes me atheist.
You will soon realize that the true God, acceptable to atheists, has eventually emerged.

The whole getting through to a part? You guys are quite ignorant of the simple truth of nature.
Nature we see, feel, and know. Nature is as much us, as it is everything else. We are nature. Mankind has created many gods, yet none actually exist. All gods rely on man to reveal them, none yet have been able to reveal themselves.

Don't be saucy.
Atheism doesn't exist. The atheist is real, but there is no "ism" in being an atheist. Atheism is the lack of an ism. A religion requires more than just not being a religion to exist as a religion, and atheist is not a religion. As many times as you have been told this, it would seem to prove that you are quite simply stupid, since the truth cannot be accepted by you. Truth, and nothing but.

A true god would be indisputable.

Sure it will, if it ever comes into existence. And the world loses all ability to discern reality, and education becomes a thing of the past, sure it will, this totally insignificant Universal religion, will be like all the others. Forgotten, laid aside, people get on with living, they get past the fears, and leave the gods who cause, or alleviate the fears behind. Nothing like a bit of enlightenment to free the whole of mankind. No gods needed!

Emerged? Crawled out from under a rock is more like it. If it were a true god, it would not need you to herald it's emergence.

A true god would be indisputable.

Yes, of course. But its initial introduction must first be met with certain resistance.

Gracious Goodness! Now that the initial resistance to the rather unfamiliar novel teachings of The Universal Religion is gradually waning, my erstwhile defensive posture must naturally give way to an offensive dissemination of the truths that gladden the heart.
The Universal Religion is a special brand of religion that makes a total departure from all the existing world religions.
Unlike the other religions of the world, we do not worship any god, rather than plunging ourselves into any useless servitude to an unservable god, we ceaselessly devote our time to the service of our fellow humans.
Ours is a world where prayers and divine interventions are meaningless, where no god forgives or punishes any sin; rather, what we are quite certain of is the immanent just recompense for every action.
Ours is a world whose firmament is free of any white-bearded old-man styled god, surrounded by cooked-up useless winged angels;
Ours is a purposive natural world where the supernatural have no actual existence.

He is a few million years late, and then has the nerve to show up without actually ... showing up. Just like all the gods in fact, all are touted as some thing, but actually in time are proven to be nothing.

Well, it's a god, but it's not a proven god, that all of humanity would instantly know as a true god, now is it? It is just another claim, like thousands before and more still to come after this one.

Think about it. Wouldn't we all just know, it was a god? We require less of a god than we would of our garbage man. For what little we pay the refuse dude, we expect proof of his being there and getting the job done, when he doesn't hop to it, we get irate. Think about how much less than that, we are willing to accept from a god. He doesn't have to do anything, he doesn't even have to exist, for his minions to make their usually very good living from pandering his myth. Are you expecting to live the good life off selling this crap? Can you get your god to out-do the trash man?
I am atheist, he is going to have to outperform the garbage guy, before he gets one red sou, or one iota of belief from me. He would have to be real.
