More accurately: "God" is an imagined being. It can only be dead in the metaphorical sense.

If you believe Jesus is God, then you are duped.
The Bible said the son of God, Jesus was put to death, not God in heaven. God is a immortal spirit and cannot ever die, he had no creator or mother.
Isaiah 45:18

Jesus was sent to Earth from his heavenly life as the only begotten son of God, his heavenly Father Almighty God Jehovah, the one true God of the Bible, not religion.
Luke 1:32

A very funny read!

Have you got "Blameless in Abbadon" & "The Eternal Footman" lined up next?

Perhaps you weren't paying attention. This is the Atheism forum. Pretty much by definition, we don't think Jesus is god. We don't think god is god, either. No matter what you call him/her/it.

They are in the queue, but I am currently ploughing thru David Perkin's "Outsmarting IQ" and Molly Ivan's "Shrub".

Do you think 'he' our silly and misguided poster, will figure out which word I am misusing?

Whenever I read a blatant lie, I just react. I understand Atheist views, but all of the Churches of Christendom do teach that it was God that died on the cross, and that is a lie.

It is true Jesus died or was put to death on a tree, he was the son of God and not immortal as he was a human being or flesh and blood man, who do not have immortal souls as the religions teach. Romans 5:6

I can't help but think that last supper must have been a bit tense, with Jesus relating the bread to his broken skin and the wine to his own blood.

I bet no one touched the meatballs.
