<quoted text>That is totally ridiculous, but you have to remember the reason pot was illegal was to incarcerate the poor (blacks) for many reasons, some of which include: cheap labor, punishing the poor to keep them in line, pot is easy to grow so it's not capitalistic, a "drug war" sets up off the book revenue for the government (CIA), and I'm sure there are more reasons.
I've read that it was made illegal to get rid of Mexican immigrants. It was their drug of choice, so it was easy to nail them.

You really never got into it so you don't know how negatively it affects some users.
Ahh. Good ol' Reefer Madness.

<quoted text>If you are going to argue that pot should be illegal because of adverse effects, then you should also argue that alcohol should be illegal.

And we all know how badly that went.

And if you really pay attention, you know how badly the campaign against pot is going.
They're coming out with Alcohol Madness any day now. Can't wait to see it.

Nonsense, pot is safe and always has been.

Drugs aren't inherently bad, its the people who use them that have the choice of how or how not to incoporate them into their lives.

It was obvious to me that it was distorting reality. That reefer madness flick wasn't funny when I was sober and the people I was hanging with were losers and they still are.

Because you weren't high. And you're a theist.

Losers tend to attact losers.

Most of the people I know who smoke pot regularly are in top ranking jobs, like doctors, lawyers and finance pros.

Just makes me laugh even more when I hear theists ratting on a plant.

Yeah, well, alot of the ones I know are professionals too but they're still losers when they go to work high. One of my ex-inlaws is a doctor, a surgeon, and the only reason that numbnuts quit tokin was because he developed an allergy to it, otherwise he'd still be doing it. You really like the idea of the possibility that someone performing surgery on you might have a buzz goin' on? If you do that makes you a loser too. My husband and my lawyer/boyfriend toke and they're both moral cripples. I've partied with judges and my hometown mayor and guess what? Smoking weed and makes them losers cause it makes hypocrites of them all for punishing people they call "riffraff" for doing the same thing. Theism doesn't have shit to do with smoking dope you ass!

Theism is an excuse for failing to accept reality.
It cripples a thinking mind.

Now I begin to understand why you have no real friends and hound people on this forum.

The point is just because you "friends" are losers does not mean that people who smoke pot are losers.

Also, considering your last comment, it clearly says in your bible, that drugs are bad mmmm kay?

Go and pray so that may understand this.

Gee, you really believe that an insult coming from an outcast like you means anything to anyone except other freaks like nina and Bob? You are good for a chuckle after all.
I'll take your word for it that the bible actually talks about "drugs", I mean, who really cares whether it does or not?

Harris also promotes torture as a means to gain knowledge.
