I'm sorry.
Was what I posted more than what your limited "education" could handle?
Well-- I did try to dumb it down to a 3rd grade level-- but clearly even that was more than you could understand.
Pity.
But your reliance on faith has destroyed your ability to learn.
Too bad.

Atheists are FREE from religion. A= without; theism, therefore atheism means without religion.
No one that is a fully functioning adult needs religion.

Ah, so you know of grownups who have proof of God that you can sense. So why do you keep asking ME?

I looked over that-- lots and lots of lovely excuse.
NO ACTUAL BIBLE VERSES, though. None that explicitly state man has free will-- a FACT that many of the bible-apologizers mentioned.
That was refreshingly honest of them-- they admit that the bible does not **explicitly** grant humans free will.
They then go on to use excuse after excuse-- all without bible support.
It's kinda pathetic to watch, really-- as they grew more desperate to "explain" why the bible does not support the idea of free will, and could not.
The **root** of their problem? The whole idea OF free will is TOO NEW!
It seriously is--- the bible is **older** than the whole free will meme-- it just did not exist when the bible was being cobbled together out of old, plagiarized mythology.
Free will, as an idea, came much-much later-- nearly a 1000 years later, if I remember correctly.
At least-- among people besotted by the bible's bullshyt.,
The Greeks likely thought of it before the bible's people did--but early christians threw out 99% of the Greek's best ideas....
... meh.
Well gee, bob- you make up new definitions all the time. Now I give you half a dozen links from bona fide Bible scholars with s-u-c-c-i-n-c-t explanations from the Bible in relation to "free will" and now you're saying that because those two li'l ol' words don't appear there, all their work isn't good enough for you? Do you intend to make up your own rules to go with your unique definitions as well? Any other AD HOC laws I need to be aware of?

I just described your miserable and over-fed existence.

But my sources tell me, that I was too nice to you, when I described your hideousness.

But then again? I'm nice like that.

You are so incredibly stupid?

That it is obvious you must close your eyes to breathe-- you lack sufficient brain power to both see, and to remember to breathe at the same time.

It's pretty sad-- but that does explain why you type so slowly...

You did not bother to **read** your link-- did you?

They posted **NO** bible references which prove "free will" is a biblical concept.

NONE AT ALL.

Your so-called "experts" even admitted that the bible does not support the free will hypothesis directly.

You must **twist** and **lie** and **deliberately**change** what the bible **actually** says.

In order to force-fit the free will concept into it.

In short?

You must make sh7t up-- and lie about what the bible says.

Classic.

thank you. but just wondering, being the doj and all, do tthey consider statism as a religion? seems to fit the criteria much better. after all, living off the public teet and being lawyers to boot, they wouldn't qualify as fully functioning adults, now would they?

You got that completely wrong.

"Theism" doesn't allude to religion. Nor does "atheism".

The root word of atheism is not "theism".

It is the greek "atheos" - no god.

Atheism is the belief that there is no god.

It is a belief, not a lack of belief.

atheism is a belief that there is no compelling evidence for god other that in the imagination of human beings. Belief is not religion. If that were so my belief in wheaties would be a religion.

You don't have to have a "belief" in Wheaties.

Take it from me - they exist.

Atheism is the belief that no god exists.

It is not a belief about evidence.

When you can prove your god, all the stupid sh*t you refer to as a religion will become worthwhile.

Problem is you're a coward and confronting the fact that you have no proof scares you enough to lie for your cult.

Theists can't accept that ignorance is not a valid belief system.

And "theos" is Greek for "god". The "a-" prefix denotes "without".

Without independently verifiable proof, it's all "belief". As Azimov said "I don't have the evidence to prove that God doesn't exist, but I so strongly suspect he doesn't that I don't want to waste my time."
