Atheists do not live in fear or gods love or forgiveness, because atheists do not believe in god.

I'm sorry that its so hard for your mental illness to accept that atheists are real and don't believe you or what your cult has told you to write in these forums.

Maybe one day you can confront the fact that atheists are real people and live a life that has nothing to do with the god of your mental illness?

huntcoyotes (do you really?) atheists trolls who patrol the religious threads to compulsively spew out their emotional problems with theists every day are mentally imbalanced. Why are they here every single day? Do they do anything else except this daily upchucking of negativity about a subject not a one of them knows anything about? I'm referring of course to spiritual consciousness, a mentality hardwired into most human adults but in atheists brains seems beyond them perhaps due to impaired corpus collossum disability. In any event, because they cannot see their disability because brain scans are not common yet, atheists truly believe they are without disability, that having one's left-brain's linear processing dominate all consciousness of reality is normal for everyone when it obviously isn't. But it may be a human skill that needs to be brought out by teachers and the culture, something that no longer happens as secular society removes religious teachings about such things. This give atheists their false hope that atheism is on the rise when it is only because spiritual consciousness is not being taught as it was before. In any event, as a former atheist, the ideology is completely wrong as I discovered when I had my first religious conversion experience and got my God Gene capacity going after 35 years of deadness and found out the same wisdom Shakespeare made so famous that atheists never learn egotistically thinking everyone should be as mentally handicapped as themselves.

They've been inculcated to do so from the day they were brainwashed in their religion, because one of the tasks is to "spread" the "good news." In other words, it's to brainwash others. People wouldn't believe it unless they have it drilled into their heads, over and over again through repeated "lessons" at church.

You guys waste everyone's time here with your total lack of knowledge of spiritual consciousness making you appear as know-nothing nitwits when arguing against spiritual phenomena. Come back when you've read and digested Einstein's criticisms of atheists like you guys who lack corpus collossum connectivity to half your brains and think everyone else is also as mentally disabled as yourselves.
The above mindless rant?

Is what happens when you poison your mind with illicit drugs for too long, at too high a concentration.

Don't let this happen to YOU: recreational drugs in **moderation** please.

Paranoid? Is it paranoia when they really **are** out to kill you dead, because you don't believe in the same stupid god they do?

You still cannot refute my comments-- so you stoop to the above bullshyt.

Again: Hell theology is REVENGE theology.

That is ALL that it is-- it makes the god who stoops to it, into a petty tyrant.

Nope: the someone is REAL, and therefore the apology is WORTHWHILE.

Your god?

Isn't real.

Besides-- if your god WERE REAL?

YOUR GOD IS THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO APOLOGIZE!

For being such ...

... a colossal dick.

I spent about 15 years working with refugees, mostly from Southeast Asia. Believe it or not, among the Cambodian refugee population, there's a number of former Khmer Rouge, some of whom were coerced into being KR soldiers, some of whom were enthusiastic volunteers. A surprisingly large number of former KR, both here and in Cambodia, have converted to christianity.(Duch, the former commander of the interrogation/torture center at Tuol Sleng, sent thousands of people to their death after savagely torturing them. When he was found and arrested, he was a devout christian.) At first, I thought it was just an oddity. Eventually, I realized the attraction. Buddhism teaches karma. In this life and future lives, you get what you deserve based on how well you observed the precepts. It pretty much acts automatically, without divine intervention. Christianity teaches that you can be forgiven and wipe the slate clean. If you participated in truly horrendous acts of cruelty, that possibility of escaping karma by becoming christian and getting forgiven is a really attractive option.
Indeed. The "Get Out Of Jail Free" dogma of Genuine Christianity™ is perfect for anyone who has done truly monstrous things in life.

I suspect this is why most of the **leaders** of Genuine Christianity™ are real azzholes....

... they have this magic JuJu spell "Jesus! Forgive!" and *poof* like magic, all their ugly and horrid life is magically erased.

Or so they believe.....

.... truly a horrid religion.

My guess is he experimented with cutting-edge recreational drugs a bit too much, and for too long, at too high a dosage.

He sounds **exactly** like someone writing about an LSD trip.

My ex was into that a bit, and some of her loony friends? Still were-- they were some batshit-insane and brain damaged folk, for sure.

Exactly! This is why the Fundie churches have "services" 3 or even 5 times a week.

They **must** keep hammering the dogma home, or else it starts to fade.

The more crazy the fundie-dogma? The more frequently the spell must be re-cast to remain effective.

... meh.

Exactly, your loving God is willing to forvive people for any crime, no matter how grave, provided that they prostrate before him, like so mad monarch. He only cares for his trappings of royalty rather than truth and justice.

When I said "hope for redemption" I was referring to people condemned to hell, who according to mainstream Christianity, will remain there tortured forever.

Revenge implies that the person committing the offense was wronged by the person who was victimized. In God;s case, he is willing to harm people who have done him no wrong, like Job. Hell is just another instrument of his sadism.

Nothing you say above, absolves your god from being just another REVENGE MONSTER.
Hell isn't about "punishment". Hell is all about REVENGE.
Even if you play the "Hell is for Satan and his minions"-- THAT IS STILL REVENGE.
Ask yourself: What sort of god plays such petty games?

<quoted text>That is, according to YOUR logic. Thank God you aren't in charge. Sorry bob, it's a penalty. Do you call Capital Punishment revenge? Even if the defendent knows the penalty before he commits the offense? Silly question since now that I've brought it up, you will.
A penalty of eternal damnation seems for the crime of not believing seems pretty heartless to me.
Could you imagine being a Buddhist monk, dedicating one's life to good works, dying, and to be told by some strange god that all your good works are meaningless and that you will go to hell just because you did not believe in him.

Kind of a waste of virtual breath on these brave brave internet commandos, though. They're the type who would drive by a Church picnic and believe that all the nice things going on were hate-rituals and the little kids playing games and giggling are killers-in-training. They believe prayers are spell-casting and asking forgiveness is aimed at them in some way- how sad to be one of these particular atheists- they live in fear of God's love and forgiveness.
Just show us the difference between spell casting and prayer. It is all ritualized mumbo jumbo, and the spell casters, the liaisons to the gods(priest, minister, priestess, witch doctors) are all playing the same game, wherein you support them, and they reap now, what they promise you will have after your death.

Of course! From a rationalist point of view, it is simply sadism of the worst sort.

But these people really do believe that all of humanity is worth less than pond scum.

And they also believe that simply by existing, they somehow damage their ugly god's "worth".

So revenge is apropos, from their ugly points of view.

The atheist troll mob speaks up--continually, can't shut them up as they really are emotionally damaged to keep their compulsive posting going each and every day as if their lives had no other purpose than to spew hatred of religion and theists and doing it from a zero experiential base too. Amazing displays of atheist egotism in action as well as exposing the mean little kid nine-year old boy actions of supposedly adult men who use slander and libel as their first choice of intellectual "debate".

You guys only have each other for philosophical comfort. You certainly will never have science behind your opinions based on lack of knowledge of the subject matter. But my words of wisdom you can't hear because you all are way too heavily ego invested in your failed philosophy. Yes, Failed philosophy, done away with by both science of brain functioning in human beings and by pure logic as atheism rests on irrationality, the fundamentalist belief that the present time dictates all future knowledge of things. Utterly without merit philosophically yet that is the mindset of atheism. Only agnosticism is scientific. Atheism isn't. The DoJ has it right and you can post all day long forever and still you'll never topple the logic of history or the even present day brain science findings destroying your ideology. Sorry, but it really is the End Times of Atheism right along with the End Times of Abrahamic religions..

You need to work on your inability to insult. You seem to have the motivation, but not the wherewithal. You have said nothing about us, but while doing so you have created a completely repulsive word salad.

Atheism isn't an "ism", it is the lack of an "ism".

It sucks to be you!
