but

A murdering rapist who, at the end of his life, feels bad and asks for forgiveness spends eternity in blissful heaven.

Sorry, that is one messed up religion...and makes your god just a wee bit egotistical, don't you think?

Nope-- I had me a looky-look: NOTHING in your ugly bible specifies "from the hart".

The single thing? Is casting the magic JuJu spell: "Jesus! Forgive me!".

All else is just fluff-- none of your lies match the actual bible's words.

Yep.

That's why it's so worthless as a system of imparting either good deeds OR morality.

The instant "get out of everything" spell pretty much means that the worst human monster in history gets off scott-free, with nary a scrape or bruised elbow.

Atheist obsessive compulsives fill up the forum every day with their ego trips as trolls needing to bash someone in order to feel important to themselves. Here though they only make utter fools of themselves every day arguing with their religious fundamentalist counterparts while totally clueless of the subject matter they have zero knowledge and experience in. The DoJ has it right as only fundamentalist believers which atheists are and don't know it, would obsessively post every single day their lack of knowledge of spiritual phenomena. But these words will be ignored as atheist egos cannot let a single criticism go by without automatically reacting, reaching for the slander and libel they have to use as "defense" of atheist philosophy of negativity and lack of human spiritual mentality granted in various degrees to the vast majority of humanity.

Yes. Capital Punishment, by definition, is revenge.
Since there can be no possibility of a change in future behavior from the victim.
But you hatecultists are all about revenge, are you not?
I have no doubt that you literally get off, thinking about all the criminals our nation has murdered for the sake of petty revenge.
Outstanding, bob- you don't know the difference between a penalty and revenge. Were a member of the victim's family to flip the switch, THAT would be revenge. Duh.

Oh, I do.

It is you who is desperately ignorant of basic moral systems.

This is hardly surprising: you think that doing good is a magic reward for obeying ANYTHING your hideous god commands.

In contrast to people like me, who think doing good is simply a good thing to do.

Without a thought or need for a magic "reward" or fear of a equally imaginary magic "revenge".

And?

The Death Penalty is all about REVENGE.

And political power-- because idiots like YOU crave the DEATH AND MURDER of people you hate.

Just like your ancestors did, by burning people at the stake or the public hanging spectacle.

REVENGE.

It's literally written into your ugly bible.

Bob, Skeptic, Mikko, just think, all OCD victims boring us all with their maladjusted lives that seem to live only to post negativity on religious forums.

You guys waste everyone's time here with your total lack of knowledge of spiritual consciousness making you appear as know-nothing nitwits when arguing against spiritual phenomena. Come back when you've read and digested Einstein's criticisms of atheists like you guys who lack corpus collossum connectivity to half your brains and think everyone else is also as mentally disabled as yourselves.

It's because you cannot prove your god and you know know this, that you try to attack atheists,

When you can prove your god, the cult mental illness you call a religion will get more respect. It's always been this way,

You've had thousands of years to prove god, yet liars just can't stop lying.

Stifling your hatred and disgust of those who bow down to no gods(not even Satan)is unhealthy behaviour. Please have your say, let it out, we are adults here, we can take it.

We know that you as a religitard, can see what no other humans can ... so wade in tell us, what you with your spiritual connections can see ;)

BTW: If you are really bored, you could find another place to play, other than here in the atheism (lack of religion)forum, you know the place where atheist will say, exactly what they choose about real freaks.

Did you know that people actually believe in a god who was beaten by the iron chariot? Truly silly, Huh?.

Very insightful- I was just going to remind bob that he is still paranoid. You're doing a better job of it. Kind of a waste of virtual breath on these brave brave internet commandos, though. They're the type who would drive by a Church picnic and believe that all the nice things going on were hate-rituals and the little kids playing games and giggling are killers-in-training. They believe prayers are spell-casting and asking forgiveness is aimed at them in some way- how sad to be one of these particular atheists- they live in fear of God's love and forgiveness.

huntcoyotes (do you really?) atheists trolls who patrol the religious threads to compulsively spew out their emotional problems with theists every day are mentally imbalanced. Why are they here every single day? Do they do anything else except this daily upchucking of negativity about a subject not a one of them knows anything about? I'm referring of course to spiritual consciousness, a mentality hardwired into most human adults but in atheists brains seems beyond them perhaps due to impaired corpus collossum disability. In any event, because they cannot see their disability because brain scans are not common yet, atheists truly believe they are without disability, that having one's left-brain's linear processing dominate all consciousness of reality is normal for everyone when it obviously isn't. But it may be a human skill that needs to be brought out by teachers and the culture, something that no longer happens as secular society removes religious teachings about such things. This give atheists their false hope that atheism is on the rise when it is only because spiritual consciousness is not being taught as it was before. In any event, as a former atheist, the ideology is completely wrong as I discovered when I had my first religious conversion experience and got my God Gene capacity going after 35 years of deadness and found out the same wisdom Shakespeare made so famous that atheists never learn egotistically thinking everyone should be as mentally handicapped as themselves.

I spent about 15 years working with refugees, mostly from Southeast Asia. Believe it or not, among the Cambodian refugee population, there's a number of former Khmer Rouge, some of whom were coerced into being KR soldiers, some of whom were enthusiastic volunteers. A surprisingly large number of former KR, both here and in Cambodia, have converted to christianity.(Duch, the former commander of the interrogation/torture center at Tuol Sleng, sent thousands of people to their death after savagely torturing them. When he was found and arrested, he was a devout christian.) At first, I thought it was just an oddity. Eventually, I realized the attraction. Buddhism teaches karma. In this life and future lives, you get what you deserve based on how well you observed the precepts. It pretty much acts automatically, without divine intervention. Christianity teaches that you can be forgiven and wipe the slate clean. If you participated in truly horrendous acts of cruelty, that possibility of escaping karma by becoming christian and getting forgiven is a really attractive option.

As much as you try to lie about atheists behaviour, you cannot connect a simple disbelief in god based on evidence, with mindless violence.

Since it is you who suggested drive-by ing a church, we have to question YOUR sanity and your intent. Since you belong to a mentally ill cult, there is no telling what you will say or do to defend your cult.

Hopefully the authorities will be able to stop you and prevent you from committing the horrible things you and your cult are talking about.
