You're not selling your imagination very well. Please make your imaginary beliefs more attractive and maybe some of us sane people will be encouraged to entertain you with your own self-built brand of madness.
So what is your hope beyond your miserable meaningless existence beyond making others as miserable?

If you think god is real, you need to stop lying to everyone around you and actually prove it.

People like you make the world a miserable place to live.

And here is Christianity once again, tirelessly spreading its filthy message that any unbeliever is less human than he is. This is why unbelievers are so hated - the most despised minority in America. Because of this. And this occurs because of that filthy church and its filthy message.
Sorry, NightSerf, but I don´t want to try to make peace with that. And I don´t care to be polite to it, either.
That's fine. I'm me, you're you, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Topix provides a place for ideas that can't be fully expressed in the "real" world, and that means that the finer points of opinions and feelings will be diverse even among people who are in agreement on more basic points.

You write the truth as you see it. Good for you!

There is a huge difference in understanding and supporting that people will have a different opinion.

That doesn't mean I have to SUPPORT the opinion held.

Racism is an opinion opposed to mine. I don't agree with racism. I won't support the opinion of racism.

It's my opinion that most religion, and, in specific, Christianity, creates a type or variation of racism (some might say bigotry but I won't) of the worse kind.

I find it pathetic that you think you only can find meaning in life by believeing in an invisible sky-pixie that you can't even prove is real. Does it got more pathetic then that?

Why All the Atheists?
Full story: Psychology Today
I am in the process of writing a book tentatively titled, How God Inspires Us: Religion, Personality, and the Contradictions of Human Nature. In this book I will advance a new, comprehensive theory of religion. I will suggest that religion's sacred role in society is to help people experience their life as meaningful..
The theist holds that life has meaning, and that science, based as it is on cause and effect, cannot explain meaning. Theism is the belief that meaning isn't a natural phenomena. The atheist holds that meaning is just an experience science someday will explain.
Is the meaning of life real or an illusion? Does your life have meaning? If you say "yes," you are a believer. If you say "no," you are a true atheist.

Outside of religion, there are many philosophies that help people experience their lives as meaningful--religion is not the only game in town. I'm sure there are some here who have explored some of them. I'm somewhat attracted to epicurean philosophy, but I have yet to study it in detail.

I think it would be fun, though, if a few would describe their favorite philosophies and how following them has affected their lives.

Fifteen years ago I bought a TaiChi book and to this day, I still practice its superb health and martial arts benefits(which I have used successfully in several encounters:).

TaiChi introduced me to the philosophies involved in Taoism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taoism

This religion fits "exactly" who I am, therefore; I am (since birth) exactly what Taoism is.

Like I said before, your imagination doesn't scare me in the slightest.

If you want to scare me, you need to prove to me that your god is in fact real. Until you do that, you can't threaten me into believing what you believe.

Romans 1:18-22

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,"

2 Timothy 3:1-6

Perilous Times and Perilous Men

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

More vauge bullshit from the big book of fairytales. Every holy book ever written has that kind of "you better watch out" crap in it.

Here's the question: If what it say is true, why hasn't god struck down the islamic murderers? Why is a ghuy like Kony not vaporized in a puff of smoke for his abuses?

The answer is because your god is a little story, and nothing more.

I especially like the part that says "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen" LOL!!!

Here are the facts. My kids never had an inkling that there was a god thingy until they went to school and other kids mentioned it. It certainly wasn't something they were born knowing. It's all a bunch of foolish crap.

1Cor 2:13 "These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of ELOHIM, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

2THES 2:9 "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason ELOHIM will send them strong delusions, that they should believe the lies, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

The other thing that cracks me up more then you quoting from a book that warns of things that have been happening for thousands, and thousands of years, is that you call yourself a christian, and than don't quote christ, but rather a guy who only "claimed" to be talking for christ. Why don't you call yourself a Paulian?
