You are (as so any ignorant funnymentalist are) completely wrong

The disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of gods does not imply anything other than the disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of gods, it does not imply “you atheists BELIEVE in nothing”

I realise that you are too hard pressed to think that there is anything other then the god you choose to believe in but that solely down to your own deliberate ignorance.

There is no evidence for the existence of gods so why believe in gods? The only reason to believe in gods is faith in the dreams of bronze age goat herders and escaped slaves. One fairly elementary reason not to believe in gods is not having faith in the dreams of bronze age goat herders and escaped slaves.

You will consider though :-
There is evidence that my children exist, no faith involved
There is evidence that my car exists, no faith involved
There is evidence that my computer exists, no faith involved
There is even evidence that the internet exits, no faith involved

For example, I drove my children to school this morning in my car. See that, two evidences of physical proof in one action, therefore I believe in the existence of my children and my car. Both statements prove your statement of “atheists BELIEVE in nothing” to be total hogwash.

The fact that I have posted this post using my computer (in the UK) via the internet and it has ended up on a server (in the US) that allows you to read and even comment on the posts if you so choose is evidence that both my computer and the internet exist.

I believe in such physical evidence, no faith involved,

But if you can provide actual, evidence that can be proven for your belief in a bronze age myth go for it. You would be famous beyond avarice. You would be invited to cathedrals and churches and universities around the world to give speeches on the source and implications of your evidence. You would change the understanding of the universe in one single stroke.

Oh hang on a moment, you can’t, otherwise someone would have done it some time in the last few thousand years but has completely failed to do so.

Almost, but no. There's a difference between not believing in anything and believing in nothing. Not believing in anything is the position you are in when you are not persuaded by adequate evidence of the truth of any religious claim and do not make a leap of faith to choose to believe in the absence of evidence. Believing in nothing would be holding an affirmative belief that there is nothing.

An Atheist, an Agnostic, a Christian and and a Jewish person enter a restaurant.
They order food and talk for two hours about each others lives, each other's hopes and dreams . They depart agreeing to meet next week at the same time as they have for years.

Are you trying to tell us that 'nothing' is 'a something'?

That would be nonsensical as Atheism is a lack of belief. Do you know how many things whether real and existing, or unreal and doesn't exist, that you *dont* know about??

IE-lack of belief.

Does it take faith for the lack of belief in all of the things you dont know about??

Been there several times on several different threads, however he is just a fundi and having been told the facts on numerous occasions he will go forth and multiply on a different thread with the same statement in the hope of getting a different answer

It never works, he never gets the answer he wants but unfortunately funnymentalists never seem to learn from their mistakes.

In the case of CK it’s both, he lies for his god and is stupid about it. Whether that stupidity is born of being clouted around the head with a babble one to many times or it’s deliberate ignorance I really don’t know

Not quite. Faith is belief in the absence of evidence. Belief based on an assessment of the evidence is not faith.

The word you are looking for is “no”

Had you said - I admit I can find no evidence for god - then you would have been truthful, as it is you still lied about your lies.

However you could easily prove me wrong if you had such evidence, I eagerly await as people have waited throughout the history of gods first being dreamed up

Now watch the religious liar try to change the subject and talk about "love" or near death experiences.

This is how they lie, again and again - they misdirect away from the main lie - god.

There is a difference between disbelief in the existence of deities and belief in nothingness. It's a distinction that is hard for some of the religious to see because to them, their god is so pervasive that without it, there is nothing to believe in. In that respect, our point of view is simply to alien to take in at all. Most of them mean well, though, and practice kindness in their daily lives, and on a personal level, that mitigates the essential divide even if it can never over come it.

It is, of course, important to remove legal restrictions that are motivated solely by religion, so we must continue to be as active as a minority of our size and stature can be in political action and litigation. And we should help others to learn to analyze ideas rationally and skeptically using logic and relying on verifiable information rather than unsupported assertions.

But there's no point in aggravating them with insults or denigration. Why deviate from the path of kindness, compassion, and empathy? What can we hope to gain from expressions of hostility? A peaceful world can come only from peaceful people.
