Unicorns come from the mind of man, so yes everything you stated HE created!

bragging to know - is a sort of arrogance that I find silly in hard atheists. It is more dangerous in believers, since they claim to know so much - and most of it silly or ridiculous or dangerous or evil.

Yeah, I know, and you thought it was different and unique.

You could always pray about it, no?

What is it with these gods inspiring these "holy tomes", but they really suck?

You would expect at least one of them, if it really was inspired by a deity, to be so overwhelmingly better than all others that pretty much all people, not just some, would be completely convinced within a few chapters that; This book MUST be the words of a god!

Nope. You know what I think? I think you *believe* those are the words of a god, I don't think you THINK, those are the words of a god.

Do you understand the difference?

The only influence that the portion of the Quran I did read had on me was that it even further convinced me that a book is the last thing a deity would use to communicate with beings it desired to communicate with.

Or if it did, as I stated earlier, it would be so obvious and crystal clear that pretty much the entire world(90%) would agree upon it. It would be that obvious.

Be honest, don't you think so too?

It's the truth. God created all of us, we are all Gods children. It's up to us to accept the Lord as our saviour. I can't imagine my life without Jesus, I thank HIM everyday for the opportunities laid before me and the gifts I receive.

Answer the question. WHY do you believe it?
You claim that it is the truth, but you do not say how you determine it to be the truth.

WHY do you believe it??

Ok if it hasn't had an influence on you then it means the devil is wispearing to you, he can control your thoughts, did you know that?. God chooses to help those he pleases and he tests who he pleases aswell.. But what would you know about wrong or right? We look at this world..this life as a big test. Those who fail this exam wil enter hell and those who pass will enter heaven. For those who convert to Islam are cleansed from all sins, even if have done the worst of things. God forgives people that ask him directly for forgiveness but if you die WITHOUT repent, without asking for forgivess, you'll be punished in the hereafter.

Actually, you didn't mention the bible to me, but that's ok.

So you believe the bib;e contains truth. Is that because you consider it to be the word of god?

you guys seem to be playing from the same playbook as many Christians are. does this business of asking for forgiveness involve paying money to any religious authority figure?

were you trying to catch him being circular in his reasoning? more like a spiral, maybe?
