For the past week or so, every time I view all threads on the forum, click 'reply' or click 'judge it', Topix opens a new tab with an ad for Mohegan Sun casino. I have to close that tab to get back to whatever I wanted to do on Topix. It is getting very tedious and quite annoying. I am good enough at math to understand why going to a casino is a bad decision on a par with deciding to incinerate the contents of my wallet. There's zero chance these ads will convince me otherwise. Enough already.

I've had issues with Topix too. Mainly the noisy ads that used to sound-off automatically and I suspect the cookies they put in my system were a problem sometimes too. Adobe ads seemed to be appearing on my system. I nearly stopped attending Topix. I haven't had Amused's specific problem.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my posts occasionally disappear.

I thought so, but I ran combofix, which is a very strong virus cleaning program, and it still does it. No other website is similarly affected. I wonder if it is just because I am in New England, which is the target market for Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.
I wonder though. James Fennimore Cooper wrote "The Last of the Mohicans" more than 200 years ago. Herman Melville included in "Moby Dick" the character Quequeg, who was supposedly the last surviving Pequot Indian. So, who are these folks running these Indian casinos?

Have you tried deleting cookies?
