Ummmm, actually, he is found only in scripture and no Roman records or records of living historians of the time wrote of any jesus. No Roman ever took anyone down from crucifiction. Part of the punishment was to rot on the cross.

Um... actually, there are not---

The "references" you cite are false.

The "records" were edited in by christians, hundreds of years out-of-date-- and the "evidence" of the myth-jesus is all fraud.

And if I may interject...
With one exception, all of his references were born AFTER the supposed death of the Jesus myth.

That is correct as well--

The ironic thing is those "original Christians" ,the Docetic and early Docetic Gnostic Christians never believed in a literal, breathing, "Jesus".

It was a representation of a mystical concept that had existed in many forms(across many religious beliefs), esoteric in nature. For centuries. The times, concepts and names changed with the era's.

It spread beyond those early Christians to other pagans(being all are pagans unless they believe in your god), misunderstood and soon began to be taken literally. That.. it is was written of later by those historians.

All you need to do is talk to the surviving Gnostic sects still in existence today to understand this. Its also widely available on the net from numerous sources.

Just ask them about their personal apotheosis. They'll bore you to death with it.

Those historians as I'm sure you are aware wrote of many god beliefs in addition to the Jesus. If people are going to place certainty in some of those historians accounts, they might as well believe in the OTHER gods the historians wrote of too.

Riiiight...the response will be that only the Jesus god was real.

All of the others were obviously not.

Such are the goddites.
