Why would an omniscient, all-powerful being care about what puny humans think of him/her/it? Ever own an ant farm when you were a kid? Did you worry about whether the ants were sufficiently in awe of your relative power?

And no, I did not consult it for my previous post--that was from memory.
Hint: stay away from conservapedia: they cannot bring themselves to admit the sky appears blue during the day... Conservopedia is good for a laugh, until you realize people really believe this crap.

If you are an Atheist or a Christian, you should be ashamed for talking about people like that. Are you willing to learn from more educated people or are you convinced that the bible is the perfect word of a sure thing god?

Just as many folk apparently actually do think Faux News is both fair and balanced....! ... but what else? These same ignorant in-breds also think flaming shrubbery can speak, and there is life after death... ... without so much as a single example of either.

Most theist arguments boil down to:
"I'm too lazy to read and understand anything remotely scientific about the world, so I demand that YOU make the effort and explain to me in great detail why you are atheist and don't believe in god almighty."
*after* response.
"But Matthew...23:32...blah blah blah"

Divine Alien wrote: If God is false, we are simply enjoying ourselves without any heavenly objective at all. Or perhaps, the universe does not exist or we wouldn't be around today huh! As Nietzsche once observed: If existence had a final purpose, it would have reached it by now. Or, perhaps you'd prefer Kierkegaard: Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Belief that there is some higher purpose or deeper meaning is simply a construct of the human mind. We exist simply because we exist, and our "purpose", such as it is, is to help each other get along as best we can.

Lurker wrote: Huh? There is a lot to accomplish in this life. You don't need to worry about the end everyday. Stop and smell the roses. Do you only going to work and worry about payday? Can you help your neighbor without thinking of brownie points from above? Sometime it's nice to be a good person just because it make YOU feel good. "Do you only going to work and worry about payday?" What kind of question is that?

there is no such thing called god , it is the mother nature that creates its universe laws which are not fair or just or human but is justified scientifically and logigcly. sure there are human social reformers called them selves prophets like jesus, mohammed ,mosses, bhozha, lot others , but they are just ordinary people existed in the past and died .all their stories of miricales are fictiouse, false and lies but have some morals and some good commetments .we do not need them now at all .the human rights declaration by the united nations is the best morals than all religions. god is a big false and religions are realy the opiom of nations .
