Let's say for a minute that the Atheist are right that there is no God that in this life you do good works and when you die that is it,well I have lost nothing It has been a good life and now Im dead,on the other hand that there is a God and there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun what if this is true Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: What if this is true Re 20:11 ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
what if this is true Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
So if this is true that there is a God that His Word is true then the Atheist has lost everything. Atheist can believe what they want to thats there right I guess when they die they will find out, for me I will stick with God and when this life is over then I will go be with Him I live by faith now.
Oh Pascal! We have another one who has failed to get your last joke....

Dear Christians
Why are you so bigoted towards atheists? What did we ever do to you?
It's that atheists have the unmitigated gall to tell the unvarnished facts about their beliefs....

....and what religion cannot abide?

Is unvarnished facts.

Back before the Secular US Constitution?

Religionistas would've hung atheists for daring to state the facts.

^^Well lets just cut that short there.^^
Ok what you stated basically was pascals wager. And while Pascal being a brilliant mathematician, this argument is EXTREMELY short sighted and dumb, and fails on many levels.
The main fail is that your admitting to playing >MAKE BELIEVE<.
1. Do you honestly believe that the god in question doesn't *know* your jerking its chain?? Do you think it doesnt *know* your just playing MAKE BELIEVE??
2. There is a big difference between *knowing* and believing.
3. You do lose. If there is or isnt a god you lose out on living your life to the fullest. If there is a god you lose time and energy being a Sycophant. If there isnt a god you lose time and energy playing make believe.
It amazes my that people are short sighted enuff to think this is even a valid argument or form of reasoning.
Pascal was brilliant.

And?

I suspect his "wager" was actually a joke on the religiously gullible...

... one that they still haven't a clue about.

Well you got that part right!

If there were a supreme "god", then prayer would be a vain request to have god change his plans for the entire universe to suit your desires.

But then, if prayer worked then at least one religion should have a measurable better outcome than all the "false religions". Anything?

Okay... just a minute.

I'm back-- your god failed to pickup.

I prayed as you said? And nothing-- not even a little something.

Now what?

It appears your god was a no-show....

.... AGAIN.

Pascal is proof that no matter how brilliant and insightful people can be, people are good at thinking up and of erroneous shit lol.

That would be something thou lol. Pascals real "wager" was a 50 livre bet on if he can sucker people into swallowing hook line and sinker, a shitty argument lol.

I wonder what a 50 livre bet adjusted for inflation would be today??
