here's another reason religion isn't declining.
40 000 religions is just like, how can they all disappear.
One question atheists. Why did so many people randomly become christian 2000 years ago.
If christianity wasn't right, it's highly likely there wouldn't be 2 billion followers of christ
One answer: Constantine.

Just because you deny the fact of Evolution, does not make it a point of debate.
Science might call evolution a fact, but science will certainly call this a debate, although this isn't a good one.

Just because something is a fact, doesn't mean it can't be debated

I can say evolution never happened and you say it did, that already is a debate, whether evolution is a fact or not.

Its based on observation - that means the real world. Just because you deny the reality of Evolution does not make your ignorance a point of debate.

Go away and discuss something that is less self centred - evolution is a fact and you can't do anything about where you came from so just sit down and take it, instead of lying about it.

Yeah, that is why modern vegetables came from a mustard plant through selective breeding. Buy hey, gravity is just a "Theory" too, and surely I can meet you at the cliff if you feel that theories in science have no relevancy to reality.. Electron Spin is also just a theory, but you don't seem to have a problem using a computer..., so how about this... If you have such a problem with scientific theories, stop using what science brought forth and go live like an ape in the jungle. There seems to be no shortage of religious people here in America who are uneducated morons who shouldn't be allowed to even use a computer to make such stupid statements. And when you were given an example of evolution, you willfully ignore it because you have no morals, and no care for intellectual integrity.. Hence people like you are entirely disingenuous and dishonest.. And it's probably why the Christians here in America make up the majority of the prisons population, and why the bible belt is the crime belt of America.. Such woeful ignorance breeds that sort of thing.

And of course you have the religious nut down voting another example of evolution.. Such intellectual dishonesty, Thanks for proving the point that you Creationists can't handle reality, and thanks for the compliment by down voting / judging my post.. Funnier still, as an example, the person who judged it nuts or clueless can't even outline what exactly is clueless or nuts about the examples presented. I would love for a Creationist to come on here and explain to us how we go from a mustard plant to having vegetables.. This ought to be hilariously interesting.

Nope, most prison cells are made up of atheists who murder.

Now go find your mother. I bet you will find some tasty flees on her back for dinner

So, in your opinion, despite the fact that every human being who has ever observed a sunrise has observed that it happens in the east, if you merely gainsay all that knowledge and experience and state that in your opinion, the sun rises in the north, that is sufficient to constitute a "debate"?

That indicates that you are either desperate for any straw of an argument, or completely intellectually dishonest.(Or, both)

Most prison cells are made of concrete or cinder block. Most of them are occupied by theists.

Actual statistics would disagree with you... But we all know that your ilk, the fundamentalists, have no regard for intellectual integrity, evidence, or facts. And just to toss a bit of irony of your position.., atheists don't worship a GOD that murders, or consider a man a prophet who goes up a volcanic mountain and then comes down with the ten commandments that says "Thou shall not kill".. The irony of that is Moses goes off and commits genocide and even conspires with Yahweh to kill all the first born babies in Egypt because the Pharoah won't let Moses leave, and won't worship his GOD... That is the sort of morality and teaching your religious espouses.. Thus it's not a shocker that such dominion theology has resulted in so much blood shed.. That book isn't just tainted in written blood, it's literally the cause of real blood being drawn in no less than 300 years of burning.. You are arguing from a morally bankrupt position..

fact: about a quarter of the atheists who go to prison actually become christian, because there's actually quite a bit of people in prison who learn through their mistakes

Bullsh*t lies from the idiot who thinks the planet is 3000 years old, based on no evidence.

Tell us all why you Creationists lie about science so much? Why do you do it?

Citation, please. What is your authority for this assertion? Let me guess, you made it up and the "about a quarter" just sounded good to you. I guess once you've made up an invisible man in the sky who sees everything, the little lies don't seem quite so terrible.

In my country, children at school are taught evolution, the big bang, almost everything.
But the teacher's always say, "You can choose to believe in God or evolution and big bang.
I went to a christian school and was taught evolution, but the one thing is, choose evolution or God.
I think throughout every school, yes evolution may be taught, but there must also always be the choice.
And actuallly, that's how it is, so no matter what, unless atheism wins a faith census in his country, there's no way religion will be banished from school.
There's only a choice between evolution and creation for those who hate evidence. In other words, I have no choice but to believe in evolution. I accept it as true because that's where ALL the evidence points to.

Ok, where is proof that evolution happened.

Science: Ok, so this animal looks similar to this one here therefore, evolution happened, tah dah!

That is very convincing evidence science said up there.

Yeah, i believe the Bible was from 2000 years ago, i don't believe our planet is 3000years old.

There's a difference between when the universe was created and the Bible

Please identify all the persons who witnessed the biblical creation. That's right, there were none. The biblical account of the creation is nothing more than speculation by Bronze age nomads, who had no actual information to guide their speculation, and very little idea of the nature and extent of the universe.

So your choice is a partial answer from science, which admits that it does not yet have a complete answer, but has substantial evidence, or a complete answer from the Bronze-age nomads based completely on guesswork, with no evidence whatsoever.

Guess why so many people believe in the Bible.

I don't have to guess: indoctrination and a need to have a certain answer, even if it is wrong, simply because humans abhor uncertainty.

As H.L. Mencken observed: "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong."

The number of people who believe a given thing has no bearing on whether that thing is true or not. At one time, the belief that the earth was flat, at the center of the universe, and orbited by the sun and the other planets was nearly universal. It is now nearly universally discredited. The facts didn't change, only our knowledge.
