2) Our best current understanding of the mechanics that drive this change is called the "theory of biological evolution". Any explanation that allows us to model the mechanics of this change will be called the "theory of biological evolution".

3) This understanding is ALWAYS up for revision should a better model come along. However, such a better model would have to provide more accurate TESTABLE predictive capability than our current model or else it is worthless and we are better off keeping our current model.

Who's that?

Oh yeah, he's the guy who in one post says that Noah and his family were the only survivors of the flood.

Then in another post he says that thousands of people survived the flood.

How very similar to KJV who also contradicts himself.

The thousands of divisions in your death cult are all wrong.

Apart from your particular sect.
"You can believe in God and be wrong
Or you can believe there is no God and be wrong. "

One of the two is correct.
You have no proof that there is no God
I have strong evidence that there is a God.

So now that that is done lets get back to some really funny stuff like Spontaneous life generation.

Come on puppet boy tell me all about it.
Spontaneous Life. LOL

Atheism had a surge of public interest from 2004 - 2007, but the interest wasn't sustainable. No significant amount of new adherents to atheism was gained in the United States.
In 2008, USA Today reported the failure of the atheistic publicity campaign.
Additionally, public interest in evolutionism is now declining and global atheism is shrinking in adherents.

Does the rise of Islam concern you?

No, not in the slightest.

Are you worried about rising levels of atheism?

Absolutely!

Clearly you see atheism as the biggest threat to your mythology or you wouldn't be in here.

Oh, Khatru, how you adore fraudulent science.
I like the good old legal correction when government watchdogs catch corrupt scientists and throw them into the slammer instead of waiting on science to “self correct”- there isn't time to wait 40 years for that. Too many lives have already damaged by fraudulent science.
There isn't time to wait 40 years?

ROFLMAO!!!!

How many untold millions of lives have been damaged waiting nearly 2000 years for Jesus No Show?

Of course, KJV prefers the abracadbra method. You can find it in his superstitions of how every single species of flora and fauna was simply magicked into existence.
it's well above your capacity to write such an answer. At least he gave it a legit attempt. Falling short of being correct but still a much better attempt

How do we tell genuine science from fake science?
Do we ask the peer-review groups that failed us?
It takes scientists to expose fake scientists.

Such a shame your religion doesn't keep its own house in order so effectively.

Wait a moment, my mistake - it does.

No less a person than KJV says that they (he didn't say who "they" were) correct the Bible every time a new document is found.

Wait a moment...

KJV also said that the Bible was perfect.

Care to help your friend out here? How can something that's perfect be corrected whenever new documents are found?

And don't forget to research about the growth of Christianity in Japan.
I'm glad you've started looking things up, lol.
Christianity has a habit of getting into bed with whoever is in power. Witness it's migration over the centuries from Rome through Europe and then on to America.

Now the world's centre of gravity has moved to Beijing and Christianity will soon be abandoning America and trying to muscle in on China. That will be its undoing as the vast majority of Chinese view Christianity as a tool of the west. The Chinese ancestor religion is deeply established and the Chinese love their culture and history in ways that we in the west struggle to grasp.

The future belongs to the Chinese and the world they will shape will be decidedly different from the one that's been shaped by western influences and that includes Christianity.

<quoted text>I dont know how KJV can account for the fossil record. Maybe Yahweh put those fossils in the ground to deliberate mislead us :)
You really need to widen your education.

"Polystrate Fossils:
One of the strongest pieces of evidence for a worldwide flood is the existence of what Rupke termed "polystrate fossils." Such fossils are found all over the world. They usually consist of fossil trees that were buried upright, and which often traverse multiple layers of strata such as sandstone, limestone, shale, and even coal beds. They range in size from small rootlets to trees over 80 feet long. Sometimes they are oblique in relation to the surrounding strata, but more often they are perpendicular to it. For example, at Joggins, Nova Scotia, polystrate tree (and root) fossils are found at various intervals throughout roughly 2,500 feet of strata. Many of these are from 10-20 feet long, and at least one was 40 feet long."

What's your strong evidence? It can't be the Bible because we know you think its imperfect.

Spontaneous life generation is your department. After all, you're the one who believes in the literal meaning of Genesis. Strangely enough, when it comes to 1 Kings you abandon that literal view. Why the inconsistency, wetpants?

Otherwise, you are simply doing the math incorrectly.
Nope. The math is correct.
The odds against the big three (The Big Bang, Spontaneous Life, Evolution)
vs the odds that the 2000 prophecy that have come true all from one book (The Bible).

Look at those two sets of numbers.
The odds that the big 3 are correct and evolution has brought us all the way up to today.

And the odds of those prophecies around 2000 all listed in one book all fulfilled to date leavening less then 500 prophecies that for tell the end time.

According to math it's no contest.
The Bible wins hands down.

As I prophecised, your analysis of the odds is severely flawed.

We can over look for the moment, the causal effect I pointed out earlier.

Let's just consider your Messiah prophesy for a moment. The OT propagandized there would be a Messiah named 'Immanuel'.... we'll even over look the fact that no part of Jesus' name is 'Immanuel'.

What are the odds in the first century with this "prophecy" in effect and hundreds of first century preachers vie-ing to be declared this Messiah ... what are the odds that someone would claim either to BE this Messiah or to have found this Messiah and can speak for him (like Saul/Paul likely did).... what are the "odds" of this even in your crackpot estimation?
