Now the US Constitution was written a little over two hundred years ago, in English, mostly by Lawyers and is a much smaller document then the Bible.And yet there are people with big degrees who fight over its meaning . And so you expect there to be agreement over the meaning of the Bible, a much longer document, written in languages most of used cannot read?
Might add I am not one of those who believes every word is literally true. For example there may or may not ever been a Good Sarmatian.Or Job may never have existed. But both stories are told to prove a point and deliver a message. And is there anything wrong with the message of the story of the Good Sarmatian?

First, let consider the authors. One is supposed to be a god's instruction manual and guide for all people to please god and get into heaven. A perfect god, writing the perfect laws.

The other, was written by a men, to rule men. And after the original, there were 27 amendments! One was stupid and had to be repealed.

Hmmm, I just noticed something. Many christians believe that god repealed many of his laws, too! God had 613 laws and christians believe that he repealed almost all of them! Could a god be that wrong?

Is it logical to believe, that an omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient god, could not write, or have written, an instruction manual, which all of his creation could easily understand and have equal opportunity of pleasing him and getting into heaven?

One, who knew about this god? Only a small group of people in the Middle-East. The Australian Aborigines didn't have a chance until the Dutch showed up 1606! Most people agree, that the Aborigines had been living in Australia since about 40,000 to 60,000 years ago! At least 36,000 years before the first known mention of your god. No flood, wiped them out. No visit from your god.

Why would your god ignore all those people? His beloved creation!

Are you aware that David( Or the House of David) is mention not only in the Bible but the Tel Dan stele , which was written by Hazael,(Who was also mentioned in the Bible) a King of damascus. Or the more famous Mesha Stele? which is a Moabite account of their defeat of Isreal(mentioned in IIKings).

In any case, there probably was a smallish tribe of goat-lovers who called themselves "isralites" so that's not entirely unexpected.
