Can I buy you a one-way ticket? However, BEFORE you board the plane, you will have to renounce your citizenship to America---so you can NEVER come back here. You can go sit in some f**king cave then, and talk to the walls! Because if you dare to open your stupid mouth and say ANYTHING derogatory about ALLAH---they will have you beheaded. Sound like fun to you? Send me your address, I dare you!
Spoken like a true hategodbot.

Classic godbot hate, too.

How... droll.

He wasn't 'condoning' rape, you idiot. The author was trying to show that the woman's virtue was at stake, and that because the man couldn't control his urges, he should marry her to protect her virtue---which at that point in history would have been important. Not like today.
But the woman's desires, hopes and dreams are not considered AT ALL?

How... very Bible of you.

So?

90% of the religions in the world predate the bible.

Again... so what?

here's the flaw in your arguments: while Christians accept the OLD testament as part of our 'heritage'---we are not Jews. We are Christians. Every scripture verse that you have quoted is from the Old Testament, not the new.
Well... there goes >>all<< your motive for hating homosexuals, then.

You hypocrite you.

One of the most universal human traits is a sense of humor.
And since man was made in God's image, that must mean God must have a sense of humor. i have a sneaky feeling that on judgement day when people ask god why was so and so done this way , he going to say it was all a Joke.
I sometime think god made man for the same reason we keep Capuchin Monkey's at the Zoo. We might say its to study them or for educational purposes but the real reason is because they make us laugh.
I believe it was Voltaire who said life can be viewed as a Comedy or a tragedy, and I dont plan on taking life any more serious then I have to. I will leave that to your Atheist.

Exactly. Funny how many of the militant religionists DENY they're trying to impose their toxic beliefs on everyone, when it's very clear from their posts that's precisely what they ARE doing.

What utter NONSENSE, which is typical of militant christian idiots. A woman having to marry her RAPIST does NOT "protect her virtue," since that was already violated...BY HER RAPIST.

But it's no surprise to me that you don't get it. Religionist imbeciles seldom do.

Going to ramble here a little. I dont believe in insulting people. When you put an insult into your agruement, you have just lost the agruement in my opinion. It does not matter how well laid out your reasoning is, or how logical your points are, all the other side hears is the insult.
I have learned to stay out of the Politcal forums because the Fanatics on both sides tend to scream insuls at each other and. a good agruement should be when both side leave having learned some thing new.
And as Abe Lincoln said the best way to destroy an enemy is by making him your friend. and if you want to convince some body of something, the best way is first make him your friend.
but going to end with one of my favorite quotes from gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi quotes
I Like this quote I dislike this quote
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.
I feelit my job to prove gandhi wrong.

The problem that I have with christians is, they don't read the bible that they try to thump me with. When I quote the bible, normally several verses,{go to biblegateway, and click on the, "in context" button}, I am told that I am taking the verses out of context. They cannot put them into context and they often answer with a single verse, and in a number of cases, a portion of a verse!

How can their, one verse or a portion thereof, be more in context than my quote of several verses? It can't and they are not willing to learn or prove me wrong, so I have no problem saying anything I like to them.

When a person is willing to learn and offer an intelligent response, I don't insult them or their beliefs.

I have yet to meet a christian, who knows the bible and follows it; they have all been cafeteria christians, picking what they like and ignoring the rest. Unless, of course, they can use it against others!

i.e. They will put down homosexuals, whilst eating shellfish they caught, on the sabbath, and wearing mixed fabrics. Now, if you cannot call that person,'stupid', who can you?

Exactly the point, BlackSheep.

Exactly: the myth-god they purport to "worship" hates everything >they< hate and seems to only approve of the things only >>they<< approve of.

How...

It's really sad that you think of him as your "homosexual brother".

I have three brothers and a sister. I never consider their sexual preferences when I think of them or speak of them.

They're my brothers and sister.
