Yes, Obama was schooled in the Ben Franklin style of politics: try to reach a mutual compromise, if at all possible.
It's how things get done.
Bushy was more of the Castro style of politics: do it Bush's way, or be considered the enemy.
It's now NOT to get things done.
... we are well rid of the Bush-type of politics...
... wait.... I almost forgot Bush-type Congress...
... now I'm sad.

And good riddance at that!

You couldn't try to change this administration's course by appealing to facts and argument: they rejected facts and argument, on principle.

Most people seem not to understand that when we dealt with the Bush administration, we were dealing with something unique, and uniquely dangerous: an administration which was fully committed to an ideology - an ideology that was entirely self-contained and completely self-referencing.

It was not concerned with facts, evidence, logic and argument. It was concerned only with its own internal vision of the world, and how that world should be constructed and how it should operate.

Mission accomplished!

Two illlegal wars - Usa Economy destroyed - Collapsed stock market.

Our ex POTUS aka 'fearless leader' speaks!

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Yes-- the US truly dodged a bullet with Bush 3.0 (Romney).

The same *ssh9les who backed Bushy, also backed Mitt-the-Twitt.

As you say: ideology, irrespective of any and all facts.

And that's more than $133,000 per taxpayer, which means that about $3,000 per taxpayer goes to pay the interest on it. It's hard to see how we'll ever dig ourselves out of this mess.

Well.... when you compare what passes for "thought" among people such as yourself?

Yoghurt, in contrast, seems to be ... genius.

Think about it for a second.

You might have to stretch a bit-- but it'll come to you...

... or not (proving the statement true in the process)
