lol you only love the pope because he doesn't seem to have a problem with gays. I guess he isn't reading the same bible as Christians.

Well,yes.

Francis sought to set a new tone for the church, saying it should be a “home for all” and not a “small chapel” focused on doctrine, orthodoxy and a limited agenda of moral teachings.

You are the LAST person that should be commenting on the Bible. You know NOTHING of the Bible. You have demonstrated this with every word you type.

ATHEISTS HAVE TO EXPLAIN THE BIBLE TO YOU!

Most of your comments leave us feeling confused, frustrated and questioning your level of sanity, education. Sometimes it seems as if you have been struck in the head immediately before posting some of your comments.

An example of historical precedent: evolve or die off.

All religions have had to evolve as new information, new facts, and new realizations of morality have come to light.

Those that do not? Die out. Anyone know of a live Shaker?(for example) Or a Druid?

This pope seems more aware of the handwriting on the wall than the previous one was.

Kudos for him.

Yes, because Jesus preached endlessly how evil those gays were.

Right?

Right????

Hmmmmm.... it appears Jesus didn't give a sh7t about the gays-- he never mentioned them even one time...

.... interesting.

Yet? Jesus said exactly **nothing**... interesting.

If it was all that? I'd have thought Jesus would have warned people, at the very least...

... but nothing.

Interesting.

ummm bob surely you don't expect Jesus to talk about every sin known to man. That wasn't His purpose. His purpose was to die for your sins so you wouldn't have to spend eternity in hell. The bible is Gods word, Jesus and God are the same, God said homosexuality is wrong. I know this is way over your head so why do I bother?

LOL!!! You don't see the problem with this right? Of course you don't. God sent his "son", but it was actually himself....??? uh huh, and then of course you throw the holy spirit into that which is supposed to be what? All three of them? Even though there is only God???? Makes perfect sense lol!

Oh and here's a definition for ya from the Merriam Webster Dictionary for Freethinkers.... which by the way is not a "motto" since you obviously don't know what a "motto" is lol... it's a label for a group of people... just like christian, or atheist.

free·think·er
noun \-ˈthiŋ-k ər\

: a person who forms his or her own opinions about important subjects (such as religion and politics) instead of accepting what other people say.

;) Know what your talking about before you start talking darlin.

News flash Anti........ READ THE DEFINITION! Atheism is not a religion... The definition of RELIGION even says its NOT a religion! Are you blind? I know you can read or you wouldn't be on here.

I am familiar with the "Holy trinity"... As you well know though I realized a while back that the whole thing is not only impossible and to top it off it makes no freakin sense! Listen (or read) the things you are talking about and realize how they sound.

oh iseeyou.........hinduism, buddhism, shintoism, atheism. Its an ism.......meaning its a religion or a cult. You believe we snapped into existence out of thin air......wait...there wasn't even any air. What is it exactly that you believe? I'm never able to get a straight answer from an atheist on how the universe began.

LOL... oh so now if it has an ism behind it LMAO! Is your religion called christianism then? lol.... and no darlin I don't believe we snapped into existence. You believe we snapped into existence, and by a gods fingers, or whatever the heck he would use to snap us into existence.

You are ignoring the definition of Religion. That is plain and simple. We have already discussed my beliefs before, and I will not repeat myself.
