I went to a freethinkers meeting on Friday and a chruch servive on Sunday.

Better music at the freethinkers meetings but better booze at church.

Costs less to attend the freethinkers meeting and there wasn't a specific collection just for kids(least favorite part of church)

People at the freethinkers meeting were there because they wanted to be there. People at church were there because, well they didnt really know, they had just always done that because their parents instilled it in them.

People at the freethinker meeting had read and had a good understanding of the Bible. People at church thought "God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!"

One thing I have noticed is the dwindling numbers in the church. We went to a pretty large, prominent church and there were empty pews all over.

Went out to eat after church. Got a chuckle that I was part of the "Church Crowd" at the resturant!

booze at church lol Give me a break angel. If you went to a church that had booze then it was hardly a house of God. You people love to make things up to suit your warped needs.

plenty of empty pews? You do realize atheists make up a VERY small part of the population right?

Red wine is booze, last time I checked. Those priests who serve several parishes get a cup full at each service.

No irony at all. If you have good evidence of God or heaven, please present it, and I would be happy to change my position. To have a closed mind is to blindly accept things you are taught or programmed without good evidence.

oh but its not blindly accepting anything. Its the atheists that are blindly accepting what they think is evidence. Do you have evidence that we all evolved from an ape like ancestor? If so, where are the millions of trans fossils? How did the universe just spring up? In the beginning didn't something have to be created? You think the universe just happened by chance? All these questions point to a creator........not to luck. Atheists are either dumb or are extremely gullible. Its kinda like all the intelligent people that fall for the benny hinns of the world.

im not Catholic and I don't believe in having wine in a service or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe angel should try going to a good, bible believing church next time.

The funny part of your conversations are that you think that if you could prove something wrong in evolution that this would make your claim for a god to exist undeniable, which it would not lol.

Atheists question your cult and you lie shamelessly back. Thats the truth.

Atheism exists because religious people cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

Just think about is for 1 second.

Atheism - lack of belief in god.

We don't believe you because you're lying to us.

And science proves it beyond any doubt.

So you are living in rebellion in disobeying the words of your Lord. Fine by me :) The whole body and blood thing is repulsive to the rational mind anyway.

Btw try clicking "reply" next time.

As is almost everything related to faith.
Faith ain't rational. Brilliant observation
on your part.

Now follow that logic. Become Episcopalian.

oh we take the lords communion a few times per year........its obvious you aren't supposed to drink hard liquor though. Basically, its useless arguing with atheists because they could really care less about the truth. They are all about distortion and there are plenty of distortions online for them to draw from. They are all about attack, attack, attack, and are completely full of hate. Its sickening really but its reality. The road to hell is wide.

Atheism is a theological term and is essentially the opposite of theism. Atheists exist due to existence of theists. There are no apixie-ists because few people believe in pixies. Theism and atheism are really theological terms. When theism ends, so will atheism and secularism.

So I look forward to a world without atheism and religion, where 'secularism' isn't necessary because humanity is not divided or distracted by such drivel.

Im just gonna hit a few points here so your blood pressure will go down. Im kind of busy today and dont really have time to mess with you but I dont want you to have an aneurysm.

No one was drinking at church Anti however, a member of the church who we went out to eat with is a collector of exotic wines and spirits. We were introuduced to many fine drinks by someone from the church but not AT the church.
We just had beer at the freethinkers meeting. Good beer nontheless, but it was on a different level than having a drink with someone that has studied all the complexities of wine making as the gentleman from church had. That was the comparison I was making.

I do have a very good friend that is Catholic and I very much enjoy going to midnight mass with him on Christmas. Its a lot of fun and every once in a while they have some wine and it isnt a big deal.

Im going to say something about this statement you made:

"im not Catholic and I don't believe in having wine in a service or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe angel should try going to a good, bible believing church next time."

MAN, ITS NOT UP TO YOU!

This was a very conservitave church in a very conservitive town. It is a "true Bible believing church" these people knew my stance on religion and they were 1000 times the Christian you are. They did not hate or judge or name call or pout or throw a fit or any of the other crap that you have done. I have come to call it "ANTI-ING" or "throwing an ANTI" I used it this weekend. My little nephew (he's 3) started crying when he had to go to bed and I said "wow he's really throwing an ANTI!"

Back to the church. there were a lot of empty pews. I was just stating about what I saw. Maybe its because its football season.
