I've never met an atheist who claims to believe in nothing.

I think you are confused between anarchist and atheist.

Easy mistake to make considering you suffer from the mental illness of creationism.

I'm an Atheist who believes that the Scientific Method is a great iterative process.

It is an evidence based, peer reviewed system that yields genuine results and is able to correct errors.

Someone once suggested that Congress adopt the NASCAR practice by having Congresspeople wear the logos of all their corporate donors sewn onto their suits, so when you saw them, you know which corporate sponsors they represent.

That is a religitard claim. No atheist has ever claimed that drivel, it's pure stupidity, labels it as yours.

The atheist believes in everything that is and nothing that is not.
So What

If I was an atheist, I would be insulted by this remark. You might a well have said atheists don't have the mental capacity it takes to dream.

It's one thing to dream... it's another to push that dream as fact on those that don't share it.

I dream.

I also have the mental capacity to distinguish between the twisted dreams of the religitard and reality.

I think that is an excellent idea-- I would demand these logos appear in the background,**every** time they are in front of an official camera.

More, when they vote in person? They would each be required to have one of those cardboard fans on a stick-- printed on the fan, would be the top 5 or 10 of their corporate sponsors.

They would hold up their fan when a vote was called: "any yes votes?" from the podium, they would be required to obediently hold up who they **really** represented with their "yes".

A no roll-call would be a separate event, so they could, again, obediently hold up a showing of who they **really** obey, when they voted "no".

A final call for all the abstains-- we cannot let **them** off the hook that easily.

Only a habitual liar would deliberately misinterpret what RP said in her post, quoted above.

Are you a habitual liar, "So What"? It certainly appears so.

Let me remind you that it has been that stance of the church that the earth is flat ,the sun revolves around it and that you should burn witches.

Slaves can be bought from your neighboring countries, people with tattoos should be put to death and if a man rapes a woman and she becomes pregnant she must marry him.

Science makes a hypothesis stating that all evidence points to something being true. If new information is discovered then it is factored into the hypothesis, changing the origional conclusion.

Religion allows for very little change because they are "always right and have been for 2000 years"

Indeed, it has.

But that is the **beauty** of **science**: IT SELF-CORRECTS IT'S MISTAKES.

Can religion make the same claim? No?

In fact? When **religion** is wrong? It is **SCIENCE** which corrects these mistakes.

Usually after 300 years of RELIGION DENYING THE CORRECTION.

I give you: Galileo-- after over 300 years, the Catholic church FINALLY ADMITS that Galileo was RIGHT. And that RELIGION was wrong.
