So if you didn't believe in God you would lie, cheat, steal, rape and kill? the only reason you do not do these things is because you 'love God'? Am I getting your message correctly?apparently you are also pretty entrenched in your atheist religion. So much so that you are unable to comprehend what you read. Christians don't abstain from sin because we are afraid, we abstain because we love God. I know the concept is foreign to you but try and think outside your little box no matter how hard it may be.
If that is the case, you are not a moral person. You are simply someone who does what an imaginary friend told you to do or not do. True morality doesn't come from following the dictates of a deity. It doesn't come from fearing a punishment. It doesn't come from the hope of reward or that you will get the attention of a deity. if *any* of these are the reason you don't rape, kill, or steal, then you are only acting moral, but are not really moral.
That is because real morality comes from within, not from outside. It is genuinely caring about others, not acting like you do for the approval of a deity. It is thinking through the consequences of your actions and how they affect others, not being dictated to by another. It is being willing to face responsibility, not because of some reward of punishment, but because that is what it means to be moral.
So, if you are not really moral, but only act moral because you 'love God', then *please* keep believing in your fairy tale. At least the rest of us won't have to deal with the fact that you are morally crippled. But could you at least leave others alone that don't believe in your myths?
