Just like they waited for others to cure smallpox.

Waiting is what they do.
They've already been waiting for nearly two thousand years for the return of their Jesus guy.
The bible says he's coming soon but in this case "soon" has some special xtian meaning which you won't find in any dictionary.
Dumb xtians. All they have to do is look at what was on the cross above Jesus, head:

Hertz car rental used to have an office in the Hounslow
section of London. Hounslow like most of London is
a pit. Hated going there on business. Always needed
to wash afterwards. Even the people are trash.

I recommended that office and the one in Norbury be
closed. They were outsourced to Ireland on my recommendation.
The employees were made redundant.

I don't live there. Maybe they said the same about you?

Bit of a drive for Hertz to transfer cars from Ireland to Hounslow or Norbury, you abject muppet.

I have to question the mental stability of any adult who still believes in Santa Claus. You know, old bearded guy, lives off, up somewhere, watches us all the time, rewards you if you have been good, punishes you if you have been bad.

You are the one that is nuts----never reading the bible obviously because you don't have any idea what it means to be a christian. Where did God come from?

chili somewhere along the line you got the idea that Christians were in favor of homosexuality and that we believe in evolution. Here is a newsflash for ya, Christians think homosexuality is a SIN and we don't believe man evolved from ape like ancestors. Comprende? Now go crawl back under the rock from which you obviously came

its clear for everyone to see how you can't deny that you stupidly believe the earth to be 3000 years old.

Its clear for everyone to see that you have no evidence against Evolution.

What else can a cowardly troll say when they have nothing to speak of?

Not only do you fool yourself with believing in god, you fool yourself by up voting your posts.

There is no hope for you to accept reality when you are fighting against it so much.

Most christians realise that Evolution is not the same subject as how the universe began and therefore accept the overwhelming evidence for Evolution.

If you won't take the Vatican's word on it, would you rather see the Darwin apology from the Anglican church?

You will be unable to answer this post ethically.

Yawn. Many invoice EMEA business through Ireland because corporation tax is 12.5%. Same as we use Singapore to bill APAC business. Be honest. You were not the real decision maker, the tax system is.

I had to give evidence against the IRS in San Francisco in 2008 to get a US software company off of a $1.7bn tax bill. I think they settled for $200m. So a US company made the US deficit worse by $1.5bn and I helped. I should have known it was serious when I didn't have to pick up a bill all week. I didn't even see my hotel bill.

How's globalisation working out? I see it has issues.

Stupidity like your is the reason those offices in Hounslow

Yes, the employees I made redundant said bad things.
No cars were transferred. Administrative jobs were outsourced
to cheaper Ireland. If you do business with England, you begin to
wish the Germans had won.

I participated in the private buyout of Hertz 7 years
ago. We gutted it and then returned it to the public.
It's a financial shell now. I'm guilt ridden and richer.

Most of the downsizing I did at Hertz was in preparation
for the buyout that followed. Now most of the clerical
and IT work is performed in India. OKC is essentially closed.

Globalization is the future. And it's grand.

Anyone can race to the bottom.

The real trick is making sure there is enough opportunity for your own people to contribute meaningfully to the finances of their country.

Look at the finances of most first world nations and you will see this is going to take more intelligence than has been displayed in the business world thus far.
