Christianity cannot survive much longer, none of the religions can that continue to be involved in society. They do the damage themselves, they do nothing to help the species, and live only by superstitions and myth. You are your own worst enemy, should you ever betray your ignorance ... and christians do that in spades now. Consider this your last gasp, education is destroying your stranglehold now, and the internet is where you display your ignorance.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I have had many conversations with the younger folks (anyone under 40) most do not see the attraction to religion as it condones hate, evil actions and bigotry. Most al the young people I know are very good and decent, and only want honest good life without all the hate that religion portrays. Religion only looks at the 5 to 10 percent of bad and never looks the 98 percent that are good.

I have noticed a similar trend as well. Humans are evolving a much better system of ethics these last few generations, and it's uplifting to consider that they are the future of our species, actively removing themselves from things that oppose ethical behavior is a very good sign.

I agree here: most religion teaches people they are lower than dirt, and the **only** "cure" for that condition, is their magical elixir, exclusively provided after a modest cash donation...

... meh.

Oh yes, that is true.

It's becoming harder and harder for the bible-apologizers to excuse the wretched excesses of the ugly bible.

They are becoming ever-more desperate, in my opinion, to make up excuses as to why the bible fails to be as reasonable and useful as modern ethics.

O yee foolish atheists of little faith, your good works don't mean crap. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them

Yes, that's exactly what atheist means. A completely redundant expression.
your good works don't mean crap. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
right.. so a blind assertion will save us from a god who actually already knows if he's going to be letting us be tortured for eternity. makes sense.. or not.
Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them
That's a useful thing to do; cite bronzeage nonsense to people who actually DO know it's redundant hypocritical nonsense - or do you think that washing your hands in the blood of dead birds isn't really a good way to clean lepers...
your bible doesn't know that - but you do.. right? right?
please tell me you know.

So then your god doesn't care about whether a person is good or bad. That's not a very smart god.

Clueless. Threatening an atheist with hell? Is **exactly** like threatening YOU with no candy from the Easter Bunny...

.... seriously.... it is the exact same thing.
