The video was of idiots giving people trying to control our immigration problem a hard time. I've been through many such checkpoints and they have always been professional and courteous. I appreciate what they are trying to do.
I said I thought the 'ownership of self' business sounded reasonable, did not reflect reality and was a worthy goal. In any case, you "grant" certain powers to the authoritative members of the social structure in which you may (or may not) be a functional member, in exchange for the various benefits and protections that society offers you. You've received some rudimentary education and apparently have access to utilities and information that imply you are a member of some sort of social structure, whether you like it or not. Go 'off the grid' and no one will have power over you, but you will essentially cease to exist as far as the rest of us are concerned. This is a step you are apparently unwilling to take as you seem to enjoy voicing your opinions to the world.
So no ... I don't believe you (or I or anyone)'owns themselves'. It's a worthy goal (as I've said) but one we are actually moving away from rather vigorously. We are "slaves" of sorts, but in the same way that 'horseless carriage' describes a modern automobile.
Yep.

He uses sophisticated tech (computers) which could not be created without **vast** civil cooperation, including many rules.

And he uses the very civilized cooperative effort: the internet. Which is the ultimate expression of human cooperation.

The very **opposite** of his "utopia" of total anarchy.

He is beyond hypocrisy into a completely new state of hypocrite.

Yeah. I noticed that. He wasted his time, should have studied Theology. It's like saying "TEN WORDS YOUR DICTIONARY CAN'T DEFINE!!" ... then ... they mustn't be 'valid' words, right? Maybe those aren't valid 'science' questions. The video is designed to confuse and sow doubt where none is due. Besides ... if I "own" myself then I can grant myself the right to answer any question any way I want. But, oh wait, his PHD invests him with authoritative 'power' over my opinions! And .. Oh My!.. you're being 'forced' to choose and respond .. you have no power over yourself ... you're just a cork tossed about on a heaving ocean. Take your Dramamine?
LMAO!

Yes-- he tries to use a **very** civilized concept: PhD to validate his offerings.

But in a total anarchy, his utopian dream? There would be no such things as "PhD" or even universities!

He is beyond hypocrisy into a lad of delusion and woo.

Since you are an anarchist? Why on **earth** would you stoop to something as **civilized** as a computer on the internet?
Seriously-- in total anarchy--your dream utopia-- there would be no internet! None--- internets and sophisticated technology like computers, takes **civilization** with much **cooperation**.
You are a hypocrite's hypocrite.
Seriously? You think that? Wow. I am not freaking Amish.

The Border Patrol agents should be chastised for letting those dilweeds pass without a full cavity search and a little hang time in a holding cell while their vehicle was being disassembled. In my opinion, they were derelict in their duty. But, you did at least prove what I was saying about crazy people hang'n at the border. There's a time and place where it's appropriate to 'exercise your rights' and the same for exercising your 'common sense'. I think a K-Y'd hand up their ass looking for contraband would have drove that point home.
Ya think?

Some of those nutbags would cheerfully give a weeks wages for such ... ahem... "pleasures".

There is no "socialist plot"-- in fact? That whole phrase is bullshyt-squared.
Not **all** ideas from socalism are bad--many are quite useful, and we have incorporated them into our society.
For example:
## public education-- that is a **socialistic** idea.
## public roadways -- socialism.
## damning rivers for hydro-electric-- socialism.
## federal and state funded colleges: socialism.
## a universal standard for weights and measures: socialism.
## medicaid -- socialism.
## social security --**very** socialism
Not all ideas from socialism are bad.
Not to mention a public library, though that may fall under public education.

Besides, I thought that you were not going to read my comments anymore.
All I was saying is that each individual perceives the world (reality)differently for one reason or another. One is no more "right" than the other. Our ability to observe the world around us is limited by our human senses and interpretations.

Do rainbows exist to the blind?
Think about it..
Rainbows exist.
The blind can't see them, but that doesn't change anything.
Someone is singing in Europe right now.
I can't hear them.
Does that mean they aren't singing?

We have Constitutional rights because of government. And we have that government because people have killed to create it. Sorry, hun, but that is the way the real world works.

I would think it would be something of an 'intrusion' even in the best of times, more so, in a Border Patrol 'exam' room conducted by an 'officer' smelling vaguely of stale beer, sweat, manure and cheap cigars. But ... that's just me.

The siege lasted 51 days during which time, I believe, "many other ways to handle the Koresh situation" were tried. In the end, not you, not me, not Jesus H. Christ can stand in contempt of the armed and legally sanctioned 'might' of the United States Government and realistically expect them to just shrug their shoulders and go home. The inadvertent "slaughter" was caused by a fire resulting from the escalating use of 'non-lethal' but still 'pyrotechnic' devices (flash-bangs someone has said, I thought it was blamed on tear-gas projectiles). Even so, turning our government, military and law enforcement into 'child slaughtering monsters' to hide or avoid the FACT that there was a mesmerizing, Bible thumping, Jesus-freaking, James Jones wannabe LARGE AND IN CHARGE inside that compound is ridiculous and self-delusional in the extreme. Only fellow 'Bots would recognize and embrace such a madman as one of their own. The hard core 'bot threads that "Thin Red Line" between being sane and mad-as-a-hatter every waking moment.

Such an anti-life website cannot tell the truth if they were **paid** to.
Every woman who has taken birth control pills knows they are dangerous but accept the risks to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. The emergency "morning after pill" available in the U.S. does contain a much higher dose than the usual pill, 1.5 mg for a single dose.

G'head, Bobblehead, I dare YOU to take a morning after pill, preferably, the Chinese dose.

A **living** sperm unites with a **living** ova and you get a **still-living** zygote.
Which--if it's lucky-- 9 months later it might become a person.
Most are not-- 9 of 10 do not make it,**naturally** for various reasons--
-- the majority simply don't get to the "ova/sperm unite" part-- they pass like ships in the night, unfulfilled.
All of your physical characteristics are decided at the moment of conception, hair and eye color, predisposition for certain diseases, like your asthma. Genetic shuffling doesn't take long, Booby.

Are you having trouble with the word "offspring" or "genetic"?

The ones that don't merge with an egg don't count, just the one that did. That one became an entity.
