I took a look at that article. Clicking on the endnotes links failed to send me to their source 3 out 5 times and 2 sent me to a generic WHO page. Got a bit tired of wasting my time there.

I was hoping that you had something from the NIH or CDC or FDA or something other than an anti abortion group.

Just some casual googling on "plan b death rate" isn't pulling up
much other than more anti abortion groups.

Gonna have to file your claim under FUD.

Yep. They are lying through their collective teeth-- those that have any, that is.(most likely lost their due to poor dental care--'cause, you know, science is all fraud, right?)

Roads have to be paid for **somehow**.
I suggest you move to Somalia-- you'd LOVE it there-- almost NO government of any kind.
You are silly. Somalia, lol.

Of course there is much that we do not know.
But clinging to bronze-age stupor-stitions (as you do) isn't going to help anyone to learn anything new.
In fact?
Using faith as an "answer"? Is merely a place-holder or roadblock to stop the mind from exploring the issue further.
And gods have always been used thusly: a place-holder, to **stop** further inquiry.
That is how the religious **want** it, too: they cannot afford too deep an examination of their traditions, their cults, their "holy" books--
-- such exam would destroy them utterly, proving them to be as empty and false as ..
... well, faith.
Where do you get that I am religious out of my comment?
Please don't project your irrational fears onto me.
Besides, I thought that you were not going to read my comments anymore.
All I was saying is that each individual perceives the world (reality)differently for one reason or another. One is no more "right" than the other. Our ability to observe the world around us is limited by our human senses and interpretations.

Your comments reveal you to be an anarchist.

Which is an irrational position to take.

But Somalia has practically no government-- you'd love it there.

There are tools which limit the human bias.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with such amazing things like measuring tapes, microscopes or spectrographs.

This is hardly surprising-- government helps to establish things like uniform weights and measurements.

Something you are obviously against, what with you being an anarchist and all.

Somalia-- your best bet-- since you reject actual civilization.

I did not grant anyone any power over me. You are attempting to force this power over me which means that you do not believe that I own myself. No, you are saying that I am a slave to the whims of the collective.
'We are Borg, resistance is futile.'
F' that.
The video was of idiots giving people trying to control our immigration problem a hard time. I've been through many such checkpoints and they have always been professional and courteous. I appreciate what they are trying to do.

I said I thought the 'ownership of self' business sounded reasonable, did not reflect reality and was a worthy goal. In any case, you "grant" certain powers to the authoritative members of the social structure in which you may (or may not) be a functional member, in exchange for the various benefits and protections that society offers you. You've received some rudimentary education and apparently have access to utilities and information that imply you are a member of some sort of social structure, whether you like it or not. Go 'off the grid' and no one will have power over you, but you will essentially cease to exist as far as the rest of us are concerned. This is a step you are apparently unwilling to take as you seem to enjoy voicing your opinions to the world.

So no ... I don't believe you (or I or anyone)'owns themselves'. It's a worthy goal (as I've said) but one we are actually moving away from rather vigorously. We are "slaves" of sorts, but in the same way that 'horseless carriage' describes a modern automobile.

Yeah. I noticed that. He wasted his time, should have studied Theology. It's like saying "TEN WORDS YOUR DICTIONARY CAN'T DEFINE!!" ... then ... they mustn't be 'valid' words, right? Maybe those aren't valid 'science' questions. The video is designed to confuse and sow doubt where none is due. Besides ... if I "own" myself then I can grant myself the right to answer any question any way I want. But, oh wait, his PHD invests him with authoritative 'power' over my opinions! And .. Oh My!.. you're being 'forced' to choose and respond .. you have no power over yourself ... you're just a cork tossed about on a heaving ocean. Take your Dramamine?

The Border Patrol agents should be chastised for letting those dilweeds pass without a full cavity search and a little hang time in a holding cell while their vehicle was being disassembled. In my opinion, they were derelict in their duty. But, you did at least prove what I was saying about crazy people hang'n at the border. There's a time and place where it's appropriate to 'exercise your rights' and the same for exercising your 'common sense'. I think a K-Y'd hand up their ass looking for contraband would have drove that point home.

Since you are an anarchist? Why on **earth** would you stoop to something as **civilized** as a computer on the internet?

Seriously-- in total anarchy--your dream utopia-- there would be no internet! None--- internets and sophisticated technology like computers, takes **civilization** with much **cooperation**.

You are a hypocrite's hypocrite.

No--it is you who does not get it.

There **are** methodologies which limit and eliminate the human bias from our own limited senses.

I already mentioned several.

Your pathetic attempt at dodging this is duly noted.

More: your use of the SOCIAL COOPERATIVE EFFORT that is the Wikipedia?

Proves to 100% that you are a hypocrite's hypocrite!

Wiki **requires** civilization with **rules** and **cooperation** to even exist!

And you just blithely use it as if you were not a hypocrite!

The depths of your depravity hold no limits.
