The Siri I was referring to is an iPhone app
Is you speak Siri translates your voice
Siri is a feature on an iPhone that permits typing
Instead of typing select icon will as a microphone touching this activates Siri you then speak press done and everything you said will be placed on the screen
I have not typed since I got the iPhone 4S
Very smart and useful device I love my iPhone
And is been jailbroken
;)
Of course jailbroken-- who are we to allow the Corporate Overlords to dictate what we can and cannot install on our devices?

I have a rooted Android myself. Love it.

Most folk are pretty good, most of the time.
To get people to be evil, takes religion.

Sorry for the confusion Siri
My confusion that is!
Yes I agree the Broadway is unwittingly brilliant
I vainly and I do mean vainly attempted to say the word 'bright' is the dialect which would sound similar to... Brawt
Always look on the Brawt side of life...
Always look at the bride side of death do do do do do just before you draw your terminal breath
Monty Python I really miss these guys
Rewind back to 1970/71 and you could always guarantee the subject of conversation at Monday morning's school was the weekend's Monty Python.

Classic stuff.

The cheese shoppe. Never forget the Cheese Shoppe sketch.
Or the one about the leg-stealing giant mosquito...
... or as the doctors might say, "a ... tiger".
Bicycle Repair Man!

Or Dennis Moore - "Your lupins or your life!".

Then there was the writers sketch....

Why do they ridicule Christianity?
Their condition is called commandment-phobia.

I see you are also afraid of these... "commandments".

Especially the one about not judging others...

Yes... yes you are a hypocrite.

What else is new?

Still no proof of a god, though.

No, actually it's because we follow the commandments of the Church of the Subgenius.

1. Thou shallt mock superstitious morons.
2. Thou shallt spark up a doobie daily.
3. Thou shallt make up whatever commandments thou chooseth.

Indeed. I suspect that far more of the founding authors of the Constitution would've come out as full-on atheist, had it been safe to say such things, back then.
But in small(er) communities, it was still common enough to murder "heretics" at a whim... so...
... meh.
On the third hand, in Facebook, there was a cute meme floating about:
"6% of scientists are Republican.
Scientists have no explanation for why that number is so high."
Can't quite agree with the "far more of the founding authors of the Constitution would've come out as full-on atheist" there. Prior to the US, the colonies did have state sponsored religions.

Maryland was Catholic, Pennsylvania was Quaker, Massachusetts was Puritan, Rhode Island was a splinter group from Massachusetts. Virginia was Baptist. and so on.

So yes, the founding of the US was primarily by Christians, but the freedom of religion clause was thrown in there because none of them would agree to which flavor should be the national religion lest their particular brand not be the dominant one.

In a way, you could say it was a cinematic version of a Mexican stand-off. Whoever shot first to take dominance would surely die.

And now to put a bee in your bonnet...

US citizens have rights outlined in the Constitution. But with those rights, you also have a responsibility. Classic example is the right to free speech (give your opinion) but a responsibility not to cause panic (yelling "Fire" in a movie theater).

Does Constitutional guarantees extend to those who are not US citizens but are in US jurisdiction?

The Pope this morning announced that the R C church will disband and Baptists announced they will dance.
Heh. Don't think the RC church will go that far, but damned if this new Pope ain't shaking things up a bit. It'll be interesting to see if a Jesuit can reform the church or whether he'll have a "severe allergic reaction to arsenic in his dinner" in a few months or years.
