Have any of the New Atheists toured [[Islam]]ic countries giving lectures in which they condemn [[Allah]], [[Muhammad]], Islam, or Muslims? Have any of them debated Muslims in Islamic countries? and Bob, I might have misjudged you when I gave you this quantum riddle "(did I post this before you read it, or did I post it because of your reading it?)"
You probably didn't know what I was talking about, despite your name.
What you write? Is not quantum-- it's called a paradox.

Clearly, quantum physics is completely lost on one such as you-- it always is above the mindset of a god-botherer.

How strange, the paradox (and all variants of jokes and riddles related to it) only arises because of Quantum mechanics, and you said they have nothing to do with Quantum? There are many paradoxes in Quantum physics many are still being debated/interpreted, I'm just using one variant of the joke, anyone familiar with Quantum physics should have spotted the joke right away as related to Quantum. Admitedly many are "tweaked" to make joke out of it - but unless you don't know anything about Quantum mechanics, or has a head as rigid as a rock, you would have spotted it.

How about this variation:

But maybe this one suits you better:

As for me not understanding quantum physics... I feel pretty comfortable with that, but do you? Do you understand what Quantum Field is yet (it is like Quantum physicists god)? Can you explain Quantum entanglement? But you probably don't , you can only have FAITH in it (as your name correctly claims), you don't know the underlying reason for the observations and paradoxes. Richard Feynman (one of the pioneers of Quantum Mechanics) stated: "I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics".

And, there are many god-believing scientists bigger who has better understanding of Quantum Mechanics than you (try John Polkinghorne for one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Polkinghorn... ), so your "mindset of a god-botherer" remark just works to make you look lost.

You need to become brave and prove tbe god you're here to lie about BEFORE trying to attack science, a subject you don't understand.

Can you explain why you trols all run away when simple people demand you to provide evidence for what you claim is universal truth?

Ma'am, but you need to show me where in our conversation I tried the "God lie", and where I tried to attack science? I never have problem with science, ma'am.

Ma'am, go check your memory.

You havent proven the god you're here to lie about or made any arguments backed by any evidence.
Go and play in a different topix forum where you will be surrounded by sufficiently ignorant and susceptive people.
So, the "situation" I described, I repeat, is like this:

...

Rusty: fyi, this thread can also be entered from other forums...

Quantum: Christians are cowards... hate-cult....

Rusty: What have I done, why respond in this manner?

Quantum: Because I can spot a godbot from a mile away

Rusty:(crying) But I'm innocent... see here's how...

You: All you need to do is prove god exist.

=======

(it only shows how empty you are by holding to that "prove god" thing, I didn't bother to ask you to prove anything yet, I know you may have the "bravery" to try, but I doubt you have the capability... unless you want to prove it? If you're ready, I have a few simple questions handy)

Memory's fine, last time I checked all creationists were liars with no proof of god.

Are you going to continue to lie or tell the truth?

Remember creationists, your mental illness is your own, it does not apply to the rest of the world. Its time to grow up.

We're getting there...

You say below you would only promote your religion to children.
But the majority of people follow a different religion to yours.
Therefore you believe the majority of children are being badly instructed.

Therefore I say the safest thing is to keep religion away from children. Wait until they're adults, then they can make up their own minds. Agreed?

Ok, I want to make my position clear once and for all (it appears that a few atheists in this thread are too keen to jump to some "selected" conclusion about me).
"Do I have problem with other religions?"
Yes, the same way that atheists have problem with any religions (I thought you knew that?)
It is interesting that you would only ask me this while your friends Quantum and Skeptic constantly express their hatred towards believers (and... what about yourself?) Did you have a problem with Quantum Bob in his response to my questioning him on why he responded in such a response to my initial post, this was his response:
"Because I've been on Topix since 2005 ... I've learned how to spot a godbot a mile away"
www.topix.com/forum/religion/islam/T6RM5RH6A7...
But then you and madem Skeptic gave him full support while trying everything from tweaking my words or creating strawmen to paint me a "hate-cult"?
While I have my position against other belief systems, I do not attack the person based on their belief although I may voice disagreement to their belief, unless the person first make personal attacks or caught lying - even then I do not use words that your friends used.
I don't have to defend myself, my posts speak about me, some of them are worse than others, but nothing come close to what your friends have displayed.
I do not disrespect believers of other religions. I was on record giving support to muslims who are against violence (Zuhdi Jasser, Irshaq Manji, etc), I voiced my respect for Buddhism, I even once argued for the case of Atheist's reasoning against one muslims accusation of it. I have atheists and muslim friends in this forum, although we don't necessarily agree.

Agree.
"Rick Steve Europe" a favourite here. Rick Steve Europe is on PBS, closest we have to the BBC... and PBS uses the BBC. He shows a great deal of Christian art, think he is Lutheran.?.

Christian architecture may be second to Roman and Greek.
Christian Art is impressive, Roman Catholic churches...

If you can, on line, watch Fox, MSNBC, and CNN to see how inferior they are to BBC World News.

Professor Richard Dawkins has previously written of “sky-god religions” in his book The God Delusion, as well as declaring himself “anti-God” and claiming that “being raised a Catholic is worse than child abuse”.

He sells books in a consumer oriented society, 15 minutes of fame...good for him.

You dismissed me because I refuse to bow down to your false definition of "atheist".

I will dismiss (unread) your garbage-speak here.

**NO** religious person has ever managed to demonstrate even basic understanding of quantum mechanics.

This is likely because QM **proves** that the god they believe in, cannot possibly exist.

At all.

Proof? QM relies on statistical envelopes and probabilities. Within that scope, there **must** be a certain level of uncertainty.

Gods would eliminate that uncertainty.

And due to the Heisenberg principle? The Universe would collapse into a single non-quantum state.

The Universe does exist.

Therefore? Your god does not.
