Do you think that it may just be your god trying to show how powerful he is, again by allowing crime to continue?

Let me see if I got this right .... your god inspires you, to hold out conditional alms, to a starving child at the end of a line, led by a network of Christain middlemen, who are funding themselves to the tune of 90%, and the remaining 10% is being diverted into the hands of corrupt politicos, and renegade militias? Is that about it?

In this heavenly game the now dead child was ....... bait, who wouldn't have had the strength to praise the lard for the hand-out anyway?

Rain? Does it not make some sort of sense, that a god could have just fed the planet, so it could feed the people?

No matter, Auntie Jo, managed to make her house note after blowing the entire family budget on the casino's one armed bandits. Thank you lard, for pay day loans. And your Uncle Dave managed to get it up, when he was cheating on Auntie Jo. Thank you lard, for Viagra and the good health insurance from the wife's job.

And if somehow you manage to see any of this farce for what it truley is, you are to immediately place your trust in the lard, your faith will tide you through this difficult time, where your faith is being tested, praise the lard.

So you admit that your god is NOT in control?

So.

What is your god for, if he can't prevent crimes?

Hmmmm?

Yes, yes-- your god is NOT in charge of the coat-room, let alone the actual... world.

We GET that already: you worship a do-nothing god.

And how, exactly, is your god supposed to prevent crime? After, the claim of so many Christians is that their god is all about freewill. That way, they can still believe in a benevolent god and reconcile the existence of evil.

But if your god is all about freewill, then he can't do anything to stop crime. Crime is an act of freewill. And if your god does intervene to stop some crimes, then you have to throw the idea of freewill out the window. If your god makes some people not commit crimes...note the MAKES...then they are not acting according to their freewill.

You seem to be in a terrible bind over this.

Laws with penalties prevent crime.

But you have free will to commit them.

Prison sentences for armed robbery prevent some people from robbing banks.

Personally, it didn't work on me.

Nor did crack dealers with large guns prevent me from robbing them.

With no gun.

Well, actually, there was once when the attempt was prevented by a 9mm slug through the gut.

But I was at it again in 2 weeks with the staples still in my belly.

Addiction is a bitch.

So.

No free will, then.

Gotcha.

Your bible certainly agrees with you, by the way.

Go read the verse, "no man comes to the father, but the spirit draws him".

This clearly means that only a SELECT FEW get to be "saved", and the rest get bupkiss.

No free will at all.

You are now claiming that Jesus commanded everyone to be... gay?

Or was that bisexual?

I'm confused.
