Christians have no fear and teach no fear.
It’s so dry the Baptists are sprinkling, the Methodists are spitting and the Catholics are just giving rain checks but yer kickin’ cow chips on a hot day straight into your yammering maw while drinking downstream from the herd…you might as well go squat in yer spurs.

I have ZERO patience with FAKE Christians like you tryin’ to lead the atheists in MY mission field to kneel down in heartfelt gratitude before YOUR unholy version of a sissy god. I don’t know what sort of FALSE god you worship but you might as well be talking about Calvary’s crucified overweight Santa Claus wearin’ a crown of thorns and a diaper. Your sissy god is nothing more than Santa Claus for adults. Certainly, the behavior of millions of children is improved during the middle weeks of December as Santa Claus is their “higher power” revealed in song lyrics, stories and holiday displays. The FAKE god you are peddlin’ is no different.

You need to read your KING JAMES BIBLE and realize that the TRUE GOD is a celestial cloud merchant; a killer, a twisted sociopath, a malevolent bully, a fat bastard, and those are PLENTY enough reasons to worship HIM instead of your cockeyed, lovey-dovey, unholy Santa-Claus-On-A-Stick.

Here’s Abortionist Yahweh’s Body-Count-By-The-Book:

Genesis: 30,040,001 MURDERED
Breakdown: population at the time of the flood, 30,000,000; 7 year worldwide famine, 40,000; Lot’s wife, 1.

Exodus: 31,032,701 MURDERED
Breakdown: population of Egypt, 5 million, at the time of the plagues; we allow for a 0.5% death rate, 25,000; Egyptian firstborn children, one in 5 is firstborn, 1,000,000; God drowns the Egyptian army, 5,000; God helps kill the Amalekites, 1,500; God incinerates the whining Israelites, 200.

Leviticus: O

Numbers: 15,300 MURDERED
Breakdown: God incinerates whining Israelites, 100; God kills Israelites that complain about the food, 5,000 as a crude estimate of the 600,000 that left Egypt; God kills the Bashanites, 5,000; God kills Korah and his family, 250.

Deuteronomy: 70,000 MURDERED
Breakdown: The genocide of Anakim, 5,000; the eradication of the King of Heshbon’s three cities, 5,000; Bashan’s sixty cities were butchered, 50,000.

We can poke Yahweh's roadkill with a stick until we get chigger bites but in the interest of time, the total death toll at the end of the Old Testament is 31,749,592. Satan’s body count is only 60 and he needed God’s permission to achieve that, while God’s death toll is almost 32,000,000 by conservative estimates.

Thus, I suggest you go play dress up with your fake god…

I've met three people who had been diagnosed, one a brilliant violinist, one a very perceptive youth, and one a successful businessman. They've all worked very hard to develop social skills that did not come naturally to them. One of the articles I read describes sutism as a language barrier:
"Other elements that go along with this language barrier often include hypersensitivity in one or more of the 5 physical senses (now you know why your Aspie coworker really can't stand the florescent lights or particular source of white noise in the office). Autistics tend to hone in on details of an otherwise larger picture, commonly manifesting into our "specialized interests;" self-taught experts on anything from sports stats to music or film trivia, to planes, trains, or a gem collection. Some are savant-level skilled at their area of interest (and in the workplace this can be a superpower advantage when that singular task needs tons of attention). Many Autistics are high-IQ and are often overly logical and objective in conversation. We are Spock or Data to your Captain Kirk or Picard. We are the kids who got beat up on the playground for trying to intellectualize our way out of a fight at the swing set.
"Overall, Autism is a marked difference in how our brains take in and process information."
Further on, it says;
"And don't mistake our impairment in one way of communicating for a complete lack of ability to communicate. In fact, many an Autistic enters professions like mental health, sociology, anthropology. The fact that human communication is more of a conscious effort for us than the NT can actually end up making us very, very good at reading human behavior. We're just seeing/reading/experiencing it from the opposite side of the auditorium so to speak!"
Another paper described on aspect of autism as a limited ability to think teleologically and goes on to state:
"When people see an event as divine intervention, or a result of intelligent design, they’re just letting their teleological bias run amok. They’re attributing purpose where there is none."
Are autistic people incapable of "magical thinking"? If so, does that simply make them less vulnerable to religious indoctrination?
I don't know. Perhaps a few more articles will make it clear.

They both rely on enforce conformity, which makes it hard for them to integrate nonconforming independent thinkers into their way of life or even tolerate their existence. Communist systems sent such people to farms for political reeducation or to gulags. During the Inquisition, the Church tortured any into submission when lesser methods failed.

I see the level of conformity required in order to fit into most religious communities as inconsistent with the independence of thought that is required for critical thinking. The few who are unable to restrain their quests for more knowledge and understanding than the Church could provide or, in some cases, tolerate, though, have been responsible for the most remarkable advances of their times.

Why do Democratic politicians vote "pro choice"
a.k.a. the taking of an unborn child's life.

I'd say that you agree with me that the psychological state associated with Christianity is that of a child, although you depicted it in positive terms - a mother's loving arms.

I see these people not as innocent and helpless babes in arms, but as simply immature. The most fundamental Commandment is to submit, which means fear, unconditional obedience, worship, and self-abnegation. None of those are virtues.

From such a juvenile perspective, people want protection, an authoritarian father figure, discipline, firm black-and-white guidelines, and the like. They think in terms of halos and horns, black hats and white hats, saved and damned.

That's not cute or cuddly like an infant in swaddling.

I'm glad to see that. Bringmedinner vile, and it is proper to say to explicitly. He functions as a hate spreading robot - a willing vector for vicious and grossly unjust atheophobic memes.

That is hate speech, and it hurts people. Historically, it has resulted in the death, torture, harassment, dehumanization and marginalization, and closeting of skeptics for centuries. The damage is still with us.["Bigotry Worst Against Atheists" http://atheists.org/content/bigotry-worst-aga... ]

Even so, bringmedinner and the legion of propagandists like him are not the principle problem, just its soldier. It's his church, their source.

I particularly agree that we have the moral right to oppose much of religion and to weaken its influence as much and as quickly as possible.

And thank you for that as well. Somehow, it is still considered acceptable my most people, including most atheists, for the Christians to depict us as morally bankrupt, untrustworthy, and the like. Do you recall this?:

“No, I don’t know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered as patriots. This is one nation under God.”– George H. W. Bush

Imagine that comment made about any other segment of society - blacks, gays, women, the retarded, the disabled - whatever. You know what the reaction would be. The group would object, it would make the evening news, and there would be widespread support for the injured party. But not for atheists.

So, we need to change that. And that is where bringmedinner serves us so well. By repeatedly publishing his hate speech even after being told how wrong it is and how dangerous it is, he can be used to make other skeptics more aware of how harmful and dangerous that disinformation has been to us, how little he cares, and maybe activate their intolerance to this sort of behavior by both this vector and the stagnant, mephitic pool that bred him - his church.

I expect that we'll be seeing more and more active repudiation of theistic atheophobia as we teach American culture why they should reject it.

I agree, at least in its incarnations like Stalinism and Maoism were godless religions. They were cults of personality like Koresh and Jim Jones ran, but without gods. Stalin and Mao, like Pol Pot and Kim Jong-il, played the role of gods. They had to be obeyed, worshiped, and considered infallible.
freethinker1957 wrote:

I don't think that I would call Marxism a religion, just a failed political and economic theory - at least when applied at the largest scale, as with China and the USSR.

I'm not as sure about smaller states like Ortega's Nicaragua, which may have benefited from Communism. If communism works, it works for relatively small and homogeneous groups, like families, communes, and maybe relatively small states of one ethnicity.
