Yes, Big Business were the only ones that got richer off of that unfunded, unjustified, and unwanted invasion into a country that was no threat to the U.S. Will the war criminals ever stand trial?<quoted text>
She neglects to mention that the "free stuff" she is nattering about was George and Dick's Excellent Adventure, blowing sh*t up in Iraq. Part of selling the war to America involved not raising taxes (and even cutting taxes for the really rich guys, so they could keep more of what they made investing in the companies that produced the tools for blowing sh*t up) so the people wouldn't see the actual financial cost of the war until it was too late.(They also kept the media away from the flights bringing back the dead and wounded American troops, so we wouldn't see the human cost, either.)
I'm no defender of Communist China, but they only hold about 8 percent of our national debt, which Palin probably has no clue. But her ignorant base loves to hear that repeated lie about China. We can hardly become enslaved to China, beside that, slaves cannot print money. We can print money, and will continue to attempt to inflate our way out of this debt mess.
She also has no problem with Big Businesses like the Chinese-American Store, aka Walmart, importing $Billions in cheap to nearly-free goods from China, which is simultaneously causing our Trade Deficit to sky rocket while Walmart is paying their employees poverty level wages. Walmart conveniently lets the States and Federal Governments pick up the tab of food stamps and medical expenses of its employees. That is another form of Corporate Welfare, which Palin has not addressed. But, many would say our ballooning Trade Deficit is much more of a threat to national security than our National Debt.
Since Palin is unable to properly research any subject vital to our economic well being, all we'll ever get from her is the typical jingoistic comments.
