Wrong.

Conflating the two, distinct meanings of the word "faith" is lying.

It's what you do most of the time: lie.

Faith in the daily sunrise? Is reasonable, it's based on fact, experience and direct observation.

Faith in evolution is also reasonable: mountains of facts, decades of experiments, all prove it valid.

Faith in Santa Claus? Unreasonable-- it's based in wishes, and fairy tales.

Faith in Jewsus/BuyBull-god? Equally unreasonable: based in wishes and even sillier fairy tales.

Faith in Santa Claus is **not** the same as faith in the daily sunrise.

Neither is religious faith the same as scientific discoveries (like evolution, gravity).

To claim otherwise?

Is to lie. It's what you do.

Truth can sometimes be hard to believe.

Science makes mistakes, it's not perfect.

But atheists are always right, atheists are never wrong, atheists are perfect(sarcasm)

I accept your admission of defeat, since you did not even try to address my comment-- the comment you "replied" to with the above inanities.

Yes-- science is far from perfect.

That is it's strength-- for it's very imperfection leaves room for improvement.

Indeed, this is **exactly** what happens each and every day-- scientists are **always** testing it's claims and findings, looking for possible mistakes or errors.

Or just confirming the claim is still quite solid.

That **is** the way **science** works-- constantly being tested, and incrementally improved.

In direct contrast to religion, which is **static** and slowly becomes irrelevant.

The older the religion is?

The more irrelevant it becomes.

Soon?

Your hideous cult will be no more influential than the Druids are now.

Being bitter at being wrong is silly, just try to educate yourself and you'll realise why your beliefs are ignorant and divisive.

If Science did claim to be perfect like religion, than science would be claiming to know things it cannot know, aka science would be lying just like religion.

You do know there are also many scientists debating you're mythical evolution theory were unicorns evolved into horses.

Evidence gets you far in life but isn't always right.

There are many innocent people out there in prison with evidence pointing towards them after being framed.

Thanks for posting directly to this thread.

It saves time, and keeps atheists from having to place the ridiculous theist posts here.

You're a real sport.

Do you believe in unicorns? The KJV bible mentions them 9 times. But other bibles not ever. Yet you have a problem with science.

It's "your", btw.

Correct.

Science is, fundamentally, based on skepticism.

Which is *why* it actually produces **viable** results.

This computer I'm writing on, the screens I use to see with, and the internet are all testiments of the validity of **science**.

Does **any** religion have anything even close?

Answer: a giant pile of nope.

NONE of them are trying to replace evolution with ... "goddidit" you ignorant monkey.

None.

Those that are? ARE NOT DOING ACTUAL SCIENCE.

And are not, therefore, scientists.

Correct.

But.

It is infinitely better than an answer that is 100% wrong, such as "goddidit".

And?

Science, because it is automatically **skeptical**?

Is self-correcting.

Religion?

**NEVER** is--**religion** has to be corrected kicking and screaming the entire time.

Usually with many-many people being murdered during the correction process.

Religion is **always** corrected to match reality from external forces.

Always.
