I never put a complaint in about that loser and his angry black magic socks - not even when he suggested I kill myself.

siro/leon_the_14/etc,etc,etc's stultifyingly retarded posts are a great advert for non belief and good for a giggle.

26 Days till Christmas !

A month in which it is great to be an atheist,

if you are too cheap to buy gifts.

Or if you refuse to celebrate the farcical mess that it is, but being cheap works too.

He was so hateful? They banned him in all his incarnations.

He truly *is* a poster-child for anti-theism.

If siro and his many socks don't want to get blocked/deleted maybe they should stop advising people to kill themselves.

But I'll say it again, I think siro's posts should remain as an example of how not to live your life.

Trust the religions to make pagan festivals all about money.

This is definitely one of the most ridiculous things I've read and considering it's from WSJLM that's saying something.

<quoted text>Personally I think organized religion was first created to control most atheists. Not that people didn't believe. But that 5% population of ungodly deviants were a concern to the rest of society. And they realized when they would gather that atheists would become crazy obsessed with them. So they built the churches knowing most atheists would lose their minds trying to find out everything they could about the religion. And it worked exceeding well. To this day there are atheists who spend their entire waking lives talking about religion, not realizing they are 'tapping the glass' from the inside! At our church, we normally use a long broom and shoo them out of our bushes!

:)
Yikes.

Wrong.

Conflating the two, distinct meanings of the word "faith" is lying.

It's what you do most of the time: lie.

Faith in the daily sunrise? Is reasonable, it's based on fact, experience and direct observation.

Faith in evolution is also reasonable: mountains of facts, decades of experiments, all prove it valid.

Faith in Santa Claus? Unreasonable-- it's based in wishes, and fairy tales.

Faith in Jewsus/BuyBull-god? Equally unreasonable: based in wishes and even sillier fairy tales.

Faith in Santa Claus is **not** the same as faith in the daily sunrise.

Neither is religious faith the same as scientific discoveries (like evolution, gravity).

To claim otherwise?

Is to lie. It's what you do.
