Its easy to prove there's no god. The definition of god is internally inconsistent.

Now try explaining this to any dumb cult member...,

<quoted text> But can you PROVE there isn't a God of some sort? That was the point. And by the way, please don't tell me there isn't a tooth fairy because I've been leaving a tooth under my pillow for months now with a note asking for the winning lottery ticket to be left instead of the measly $270 that tooth is worth.
That was funny, the part about the tooth fairy.

There may be a god of some sort who is internally inconsistent. I don't know. I don't pretend to know things I can't know. I know that no god as described in any holy book could exist, but don't know that there is not a god of some sort somewhere in the universe. I think it is just as arrogant to claim to know something does not exist in some form as it is to insist there is a god and it is just like the person claiming it. The fact is, I have not been throughout the universe and therefore have no absolute knowledge of what is in all of the universe. I rather doubt that there is a god as claimed by many however. That is by rational thinking and reading their holy books. If there is a god, it has no affect on this planet. 1% of prayers get answered. That's not even as good as the odds at the horse races or in a casino. Pretty frail gods people worship, I'd say.

It is the job of the person claiming they know there's a god to prove it, not mine.

The stupidity of this post is immense. Be careful reading it:

Anything is possible. You seem not to believe that to an extreme position but to each their own opinion.

Its wrong to assume scientifically impossible things are "possible" when evidence says differently.

That is why god is impossible and not real, until proven. That's how logic works and how a-priori logic functions in this universe.

until a definition of god exists, which isnt complete bollocks, it safe to assume god a made up sh*t that weak minded humans invented because they were too stupid to conduct science or verify any lies told by mentally ill storytellers.

Oh.... my.... stars-and-garters but that represents a level of both ignorance **and** stupidity that I am literally astounded.

I have to ask-- what miracle keeps this "no surprise" breathing?

Seriously: we know from various things, that breathing is controlled by a low-level part of our brains, without which, our lungs simply quit going in-and-out.

And clearly, this person is so stupid, that he's using **all** his remaining brain-power to one-finger his post...

... leaving scant mental capacity for the relatively complex (to him) task of breathing.

I suppose it works like this:

Tap a character.
Pause
Take a breath
Tap a second character.
Pause
Let the breath out.
Pause
Tap the third character...

Meh. I'd be more worried if VY Canis Major decided to go rogue and Pac-Man gobble up all the other little dots in the Universe. Even the Holy Ghosts would turn blue and run away.

Nice video find, there.

Unfortunately? There are godbots who would exclaim: "but god is even bigger"...

.. and then look at you, as if what they just said was somehow...

.... rational.

I'd have to say the exploration of space is much more humbling than the miracles of the Bible.

From the time of Galileo to Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot to that video showing how small we are in the universe.

And yet, all that does for me is to imagine what we can do if we were to put aside the petty bickering of the dogma of religion.

But too many "great" apes only wish to secure their food and mating and yacht sources in this little corner of the world of this little solar system in this little galaxy of this (little?) universe.

Yes... greed does have ugly consequences.

And you'll find the greediest of the greedy among the "leaders" of any religion on the planet.

Just look at the stretch limos, the gold-encrusted icons, the hush-money spent to silence the victims...

... and even worse, the huge stockpiles of weapons purchased because of religious greed.

Many people can occasionally act greedy.

But to take that greed, and create a system where millions are robbed?

That takes **religion**.

You, in your infinite wisdom, have traveled to EVERY PLANET in the Galaxy?

Wow... I had no idea you were god...!

(or is it you just THINK you are god...?)
