Atheists are very STUPID people. I like to emphasize the word S-T-U-P-I-D, when it comes to atheists.

Maybe that is there way of saying god speed.

I have never heard that one before either, but you can be sure that it will now be in all their play books.

All their "science" textbooks must really be coloring-in books.

It's not really that surprising anymore. After all, the invention of the lightning rod was thought by theists to be thwarting God's Wrath.

I find it utterly ridiculous that they could 1. Not have the faith that their God won't kill them with lightning 'accidentally' and 2. That they think they are more crafty than same said God and can twart his efforts to kill them with lightning.

It would be truly funny if it were not so sad to be so crippled by a delusion.

I understand what you are saying and it makes sense to me. However, you are not going to convince anyone on the "other" side with that argument. period.

At the risk of apamming, this opened my eyes quite a bit:

http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~altemey/

It's a bit lengthy, but a bunch of lightbulbs went off in my head.

If you try a full frontal assault of logic on theists, you are going to fail.

The best you can do is get them to try to think for themselves.

And a journey of a thousand miles starts with taking that first step (on their own). The theist leaders don't want that unless they are the ones telling them where to place their foot and what the destination will be.

I found it worth my time and then some when I see some posts anywhere.

I do have one caveat about it - it's all too easy to use that as a stereotype of people. But what it does do is give you an insight into some of the arguments you see presented against you and their mindset.

"Know thy enemy" is a good practice.

Except I don't consider theists to be my enemy. They have a different view. But from what I've seen, theists would consider me an enemy to be destroyed (in a loving way as Jesus taught?).

What think is really funny is that because churches have spires, it was god's house that got zapped.

Apparently god's wrath was at god. Talk about self hate.
