Why Christianity should be taught in our schools

Apr 10, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Age

To be anti-religion is not, as some would claim, to be neutral on religion. CHRISTIAN education in government schools is suddenly controversial, as secularists make it the latest battleground in their efforts to wind back what they see as the malign influence of religion.

this used to be taught in citizenship. they did away with that class, i am a huge believer that it should be brought back.

we can teach our children [ i do] that they should treat all people with respect, treat people the way they want to be treated.

with kindness and compassion.

If people do not beleive in God, then people will believe in anything else. They will have to believe in evolutionary theory, because there is nothing else.
Big bang theory is pretty full on, when you investigate it more. Scientific? No sorry. But it passes as fact in schools and that is a tragedy.
Godless people laugh at people believing a Jesus walking on water, but on the oposite side believe that "with time" anything is possible including butterflies being created via the planet being created.
