There are many ways ancient artifacts can be dated and they date the Shroud of Turin to the first century.
There are other things to consider than the date, and that is how the image was formed. Though there have been some methods used that give a superficial resemblance to the Shroud; however on closer inspection they are not even close. And there is no evidence any artist used these methods and why they would have used them to make an image that could not be appreciated until photography came into use 500 years later.
The turin shroud is proven b*llocks. When lying theists overcome their tendency to create fraud around a god they have no proof of, like this, they will qualify for the higher morals that atheists have discovered.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church agrees with the pope in that atheists can be saved through the mercy of Jesus Christ even if they are not baptized Catholics. However, the surest means of knowing one is saved is to be a baptized Catholic in sanctifying grace.
What does it mean to know the Catholic Church? An atheist may know of the Catholic Church and yet not know what she teaches. In cases like this they could be saved. Who knows there may be more atheists in heaven then Catholics, since to whom much is given much is required.
Atheists don't care what your pathological cult thinks - there's no such thing as god or heaven.

A mentally ill man with no proof of who wears a stupid hat and judges us by his ignorant hallucinations is not a good advert for your cult.

When you become brave enough to tell the truth, we are all ears lying theist.

Science has not proven the Shroud of Turin a fraud, but the contrary. Only a self-deceived person would say otherwise.

From what you said about the Shroud of Turin it appears you are not brave enough to tell the truth. What does the latest data tell science?

More to the point, why has pope done a back flip with regard to atheists and heaven? What is the end game? How is it an advantage to the RCC?

The scary part is the total mind control that allows people "Paul WV" to do to do the same back flip without batting an eye.

Its not a back flip it's in the Cathecism of the Catholic Church. It has always been a teaching of the Catholic Church; only many have been too blind to see it.

You seem to forget that many of us present nonbelievers used to be catholics previously. So, don't try portraying us as not knowing that particular cult or any other cult for that matter. In fact many of us score higher on practically all polls and tests about your myths. Why do you think that is so?

The previous old white man in the fabulous gold lame frock tried to reach out to nonbelievers with a program called "Courtyard of the Gentiles". It was an utter failure:

You have eyes but see not; ears and hear not. God will take that into account their blindness and even apostate Catholics may enter the Heaven.

Redeemed or conditionally redeemed. "Redeemed", nothing more need be said. Done is done. All religions can fold up the books, close the doors, and send the sooth sayers and spell casters out to find their fortune elsewhere.

"Conditionally redeemed", ha, ha, so the Jesus-myth promised but again, can't deliver. His sacrifice is null and void, every man still has to toe the line, and kiss the god's backside, same as before.

All humankind has been redeemed. Jesus payed the price through His death and resurrection. Those who understand what Jesus did for them turn to Him in thanksgiving for the great favor He has done for them.

That's good. Nobody is going to hell, we can dismantle all the religions, burn all the books, and accept Jesus' sacrifice, for what it is. We need make no further moves.

Since we didn't ask for it, we don't have to be grateful. He took away all that wonderful learn from your own mistakes, and threw all of us in a pile, where he has us on our knees thanking him for what he doesn't deliver, and we don't need.

You could be what is called the willful ignorant, and salvation will not be afforded you. Now only Jesus, God, knows if you are willful ignorant or not and will be the final judge on it.

<quoted text>So your story goes like this:
An all-powerful deity made a rule that said he couldn't just be a nice guy and forgive everyone. His stupid self-created rule said that he must first clone himself, then kill the clone. And you actually PRAY to this bastard??!!
It was man who through free will who decided to sacrifice things to God, so God acting within His creation gave them the only sacrifice worthy of Him; Himself. As God spoke through the Psalmist He did not want manís sacrifices but a contrite spirit He would not spurn.
