This is the time of year when birds are likely to get picked off because they're sitting on eggs. I lost a sweet lady goose last summer. It was probably a raccoon. I doubt it was a coyote. Of course stray dogs these backwoods imbeciles drop off on the road are sometimes driven to kill to survive. Good luck.
I've had more my share of bird loss already, just from wildlife being forced to hunt for food in "our" territory.
The starving dogs, I have to drive to a shelter about 80 miles away, when I can even catch them. But hey, it's my ten dollars apiece which allows them through the door. Damn I hate it, that people are so dispicable.
