For some bizarre reasoning they think that atheists cannot be moral or rational.
This can be proven wrong through the Ethical Humanism Collective site at http://adf.ly/9GLAi
The EHC is a collective founded by GLBT students including psychology undergrads and other atheist students

The biggest problem is the unwillingness of the religious to listen and think.

Religion claims certainty without facts.

Atheism claims uncertainty even when it has facts.

THAT is why they will never win, but sadly is also why they will continue to exist: laziness. Ignorance is easy, knowledge requires work.

Weird, but not unprecedented. Theists seem to universally use 'your' for 'you're','there' for 'their', etc. Even the ones not home schooled. Even the ones for whom English is their first (and only) language, More proof that intelligence and religiosity are mutually antagonistic? Mere quirk of human nature? No one seems to know for sure.

Don't you just hate that?

It's like out there and you see it and can't pull it back and correct it. And you just know all the dings you're going to get for it.

We've all done it. No biggie!

I think it was Skeptic who started the thread and wrote the title with that spelling, and he is a hard atheist. he admitted he was in a rush. at least that was somewhat normal human being behavior on his part.

Considering that you're a religious, you're an expert in putting stuff out there for centuries, realising its a crock of sh*t, but then,

too embarrassed to pull it back because its wrong, you "walk it off" like you're correct!!!

YOu theists make me laugh at how you miss the irony behind how you criticise atheists, yet all the while have this gigantic mental illness that directs EVERY action you take.

It's pitiful, because you could actually be an honest, decent member of society, if it we'rent for the arrogance of your erroneous belief.

The difference between a scientists and a theist is that a scientist can and will admit when they are wrong or have made a mistake.

The theist is simply content with denial and lies to cover up their mistake (believing in god).

Yup bummer to bad we don't know English very well.
Maybe because we spend too much time learning and reading Hebrew and Latin.

Only about 1 in 4 Americans can speak another language well enough to hold even a brief conversation, according to a Gallup poll. Of that group, 55% speak Spanish as their second language. French and German came in 2nd and 3rd, at 17 and 10 %, respectively. So, 82 % of the 25 % minority with any second language do not speak Hebrew or Latin. So, your best case scenario would be if all of the remaining 4.5% of the American population who speak a second language other than Spanish, French or German all spoke either Hebrew or Latin, which is clearly not the case, since, depending on age group, between 10 and 19% of those who speak a foreign language speak an Asian/pacific language, while 3.6 to 4.4% speak a language which is neither European nor Asian. This gets you down to about 1% to 2% of the American population as your best case scenario. Since 76% of Americans identify themselves as christian, even if all the speakers of Hebrew and Latin were christian, which is absurd on its face, that would still leave the vast majority of American christians (i.e. theists)not knowing Hebrew and Latin.

Further undermining your argument, the lowest percentages of Americans speaking foreign languages are the fundamentalist strongholds of the South and the Midwest. at 22% and 19%, respectively.

While it is well documented that education and religiosity are inversely related, higher educational attainment and second language proficiency are correlated, with 43% of those with post graduate degrees speaking a second language, vs. 20% of those with high school diplomas or less.

On the plus side, to the extent that we can read your post as a statement of your proficiency in those languages, your achievement is all the more impressive because it is quite rare. Congratulations, but understand that you are most definitely an outlier, not representative of the linguistic abilities of all theists.
